Hans, the deputy butler, noticed the young master's stare as he adjusted his monocle, and pleasantly said with surprise.

"Young master-nim~ you're very early today. I thought I have to come over and knock the door several times before you actually wake up."

On the other side, Cale confirmed the Hans from his dear self's memories and found out that it was similar to the Hans from his world. That made him relax as he didn't have to pretend much to face the close people around him.

"I just thought that, if I were to ignore your calls too often, you might lose your job and get fired of having nothing to do."

Hans' lip curled up at his young master's response. Even though, he was one to get flustered every time the master bring up 'getting fired' topic, the Hans right now doesn't seem to show any surprises.

Hans was, then, about to say something to the young master, when Cale deliberately added.

"Right. Have you seen a table— ugh.. I mean, mirror; yea, mirror that is embedded with golds, have you seen it?"

Upon hearing the question, Hans pondered a bit before quickly shaking his head.

"I apologize, young master. I haven't seen any thing like that."

"Hmm.. alright. Forget it."

Saying so, Cale decided to set the matter aside, and relaxed his mind, as he stepped into the prepared bath tube, after gotten his pajama undone by Hans.

Amidst the cold but warm bathwater, Cale unknowingly yawned.

He has had a rough night, thinking about the situation of his and his companions, therefore, he didn't have a second thought of closing his eyes.

Soundingly, Cale felt asleep.

...

After attending Cale to his bathroom, Hans brought back the young master's pajama for laundry as a thin square-shape object was seen in the grip of his body and arm.

It was embedded with golds, which was impossible for one to think that it belongs to a mere deputy butler— after all, such a position barely made it to three gold pounds a week.

However, even after Hans greeted every pass-by servants and received plenty greetings back, none seemed to notice the unique object within his grip.

It was as if, everyone's vision was 'stolen', resulting them to only see what the other side wanted them to see.

As soon as Hans reached an empty area, with no more fellow servants nearby.. he raised his right hand and eventually snapped his finger.

Pa!

Amidst the sound, a crystal monocle on his right eye broke apart and scattered into pieces before reduced to dust, making no one to suspect that the surrounding dirts were the remnants of a crystal monocle.

Following that, the thin mirror-like object in his arm, gradually ceased into an empty air as a twelve-rings transparent worm somehow crawled out from where Hans stood. It was impossible to point out where it came from.

At that moment, Hans suddenly felt like he had just woken up from a long dream.

He looked around in panic, wondering what he was doing in such an isolated area.

"Ehh.. where am I? what am I doing here?"

Only after several minutes in daze did, Hans felt something heavy and cast his gaze at the piles of clothes on his arm. As he was doing so, he finally realized what he was doing.
