"Name?" the woman at the office grunted.

"Y/n."

Her eyes looked up and glared at me, the pen in her hand tapping on the paper.

"Your full name?"

"Y/n Puckerman." I sighed.

"Oh, Y/n Puckerman. Elder sister to Noah Puckerman. I'm sure it will be very nice to have you back. Please refrain from tagging any of the porta potties this time."

I sarcastically smiled at her, snatching the paper from her grasp and scanning it.
Wednesday: English, Science, Math, Art, Spanish.
How exciting. It's not like any of the other days were better anyway.

"Thanks for giving me the worst timetable possible."

"Hey," she shrugged "Don't t shoot the messenger."

Perfect. Crap start to a crap day. Crumpling the paper into my bag I walked down the hall.

I forgot how much tension was in this place. It's like sectioned out in tribes. See? You get the Cheerios making out with their boyfriends before Third Period, the geeks running away from slushie-wielding jocks, and you get me. The random 'emo' standing in the corner like some sort of extra. I don't mind being out of place though, I might have Tina.

She was standing at her locker with some kid in a wheelchair. Was he her boyfriend? I can't really remember from the last time I was here.

"Y- y/n?" she stuttered.

"Yep." I gave her a small smile. "I'm back."

"Where did you go?"

"Juvie."

"What for?"

"Y'know how I- stopped studying with you after school?"

"Uh huh,"

"I was... testing my art."

"I'm not st-stupid. Don't dumb it down, I know what you were doing."

I fell silent.

"Okay," I laughed.

"Look, you're a nice person and all but you can't come round to my house anymore. No, you c-can't speak to me anymore."

"Why? Your parents don't know, do they?"

"They think you're a bad influence on me."

"But I'm not,"

It all seemed so confusing. Why am I not allowed around her anymore if her parents don't know?

"Look Tina, you're a straight-A student. And you were when we... hung around for a bit. I just don't see why me being 'shipped away' for a bit can affect anything. They don't need to know the full details. You can say I was studying abroad. That'd work,"

"Y/n, do you not understand? You have a cr-criminal record. I can't lie to my parents just so you can.... study with me."

She lifted her hand onto my shoulder. The boy next to her seemed very confused with the frequent gaps in their speech.

"I'm sorry. I just cannot be seen around you anymore. M-maybe later on in life."

Crap, crap, crap, crap day. First, I get a terrible timetable, I get weird looks in the hallway and now my only friend can't bring herself to be around me anymore. All because of some stupid ink my soul is shattered.

"Oh, I see how it is."

I brushed her hand off my shoulder. My head turned to the boy in the wheelchair. His face seemed terrified at my demeanour. I'm not that scary.
