They both stood over me, washing the marks off of my face precariously. It was as if I was invisible at points; their own little conversations bubbling whilst I sat on the faucet yet again. It seems like everything is repeating today. With a streak like this I'll be throwing up in no time.
"Are you excited for Sectionals?" Britanny asked Santana, dabbing my face with the wet end of a tissue.
"Well, kind of." she awnsered, checking if there was any spots that Britanny missed.
"C'mon, it's the first competition of Senior Year!"
"But the set list is going to be the same as it always is. Rachel solo, Finn and Rachel duet, I bet that Blaine guy will get a large part of a number before we ever do. Wait, Brittany, you're doing it wrong."
Holding a tissue of her own under the water she carressed my cheek with it, her wrist rolling smoothly. It made my mind think of something else, but I immediately withdrew. She stepped back to let Britanny have a go her way.
"I'm such an idiot." she grumbled, frustrated with herself.
"Don't say that." Me and Santana said in unison.
"Brittany, you are smarter than you think. Trust me."
"And me." I reassured, locking eyes with her.
"Thanks guys," she responded, yet still sounded bummed out.
"Hey, have you heard that rumour?" Santana asked, trying to cheer her up.
"What rumour?"
"Apparently Jewfro was caught rigging cameras in the girls locker room showers."
"No!" Brittany gasped, pausing her wiping of my face. "Wait, whose Jewfro?"
"Jacob Ben Israel. The dorky kid with the afro and glasses. He's such a creep."
"Tell me about it." I scoffed "When I was in detention he was leaning right up next to me and confessing his disturbing declaration of love. It gave me the chills."
"Actually?"
"That is so messed up."
"Exactly! He said he could 'change me'. I mean, that was disgusting."
"I think he deserves a good old Lima Heights Ajacent beat down." Santana jokingly threatened. I think.
"Hey, where did you get this from?"
"Me?"
"No, the other girl wearing this same skirt behind you." Santana remarked.
"Santana that's mean..."
Laughing at her joke I looked at Brittany.
"I know she's just kidding. Vertigo. It was a store near my house that sold stuff for basically nothing. This was £12.99. I remember I was going through a stage of paying exactly. I counted exactly 11,987 cents. I was short but the cashier let me off because I was only eleven."
"Woah." Britanny marvelled. "How did you remember that?"
"I have this thing with my brain. I just remember stuff for a long time."
"That's why Miss Pillsbury sent me to you when she saw my test scores!"
"What?"
"Freshman Year? Right after you and Tina started dating? I thought you were super smart but you can't remember me."
"Oh, no. We didn't date. Uhm..."
I racked my brain for the memory of a Britanny. Freshman Year, Winter Term...
