I was lying on the mattress, my vision still affected by whatever The Grabber had sprayed
on me.

I was looking at the phone. --Do not do that.

-Do what? - It was him.

I immediately backed away from fear.- I'm hungry, I need food.

-Unfortunately, I can't bring you anything to eat.

-So, what are you doing here?

-Just to see you, I just wanted to look at you.

I began to gasp in fear as he approached. He crawled up to stand in front of me, wearing
that horrible mask.

-Don't be scared, I won't do anything that you don't... Like.

-If you try to touch me I will scratch your face.

-This face? --Then he began to laugh like a fucking maniac.

-Since I saw you, you caught my attention. When I saw my chance, I took it.

-What are you talking about?

-You're... How to say, cute-- he giggled – Ever since I have the opportunity to see you up
close when you hurt your elbow, you left me fascinated. I couldn't wait to have you down
here with me, even though I had someone else.

-You have someone else?

The Grabber laugh, he stand up and left the room.

-Robin. —I whispered, but suddenly the phone ring.

-Hello?--- I said taking the phone.

-Finney.

I backed away from fear, letting go of the phone, but it rang again, it seemed like it was
getting louder and louder, the sound pierced my head, it didn't seem to stop so I was
forced to answer.

"Hello?" I said scared.

-Don't hang up.

-I will not. How do you know my name?

-We met once. Your arm is a mint, you almost had me.

-Bruce...Bruce Yamada?

-Yeah, Bruce. Your arm is a mint, you almost had me. I'm glad its you Finney. Listen,
there's a part of the floor in front of the toilet where the tile is loose, I didn't have time to
dig deep enough to escape.

-Will I have time?

But he hung up. I went to the other side of the room where Bruce told me, I lifted the tile
and started digging and digging until I couldn't take it anymore and lay down on the
mattress.

I fell asleep for a while, I couldn't stop thinking what would happen to me if I didn't
escape.

Suddenly the lights came on and the door opened, it was him with a plate of food and a
soda.

"Time to eat," he said happily.

-What you did put in it?

-Salt and pepper--- I giggled--- Eat it, don't eat it, you're already down here, why do I have
to drug you for?

I could think of so many horrible things that he could drug me for but I didn't want to give
him ideas.

-You kidnapped my best friend... You killed him---I said with tears in my eyes.

He seemed to get angry, he put the plate on the floor and walked towards me.

-I didn't kill anyone, that was someone else. Who was your best friend? --- he Said he sat
on the end of the mattress-- Was it that Asian boy who disappeared a few weeks ago? the
Latino boy with the headband, or was he the newspaper boy, or the boy with the bike.

-The one with the headband. --I told him. He started laughing.

-I think I know who he is, I had a lot of fun with him... Oh, Don't cry beautiful --- he said
putting my hair behind my ear. -- I'm sure we'll have more fun, you and me.

He left the room but did not close the door, I approached, I was about to open it. But
suddenly the phone rang again. I answered

-Don't go upstairs.

-Bruce?

-Who is Bruce?

-I was just talking to Bruce, he is the baseball player.

-We don ́t play baseball in here.

-Who are you?

-I don't remember, I delivered the newspapers.

-Billy, you're Billy Showlwater.

-Do. Not. go. Upstairs.

-Why?

-It's a trap, he didn't say you can leave, he's waiting upstairs with a fucking belt, he'll beat
you until you pass out. It hurts, it hurts so bad.

He hung.

-Billy?

I decided to listen to him and instead of going up I started to eat.

I was digging in the dirt when the phone rang again, I covered the hole with the blanket
and ran to answer it.

-Hello?

-You said my name was Billy

-Yes, Billy Showlwater.

-Don't call me that, I don't remember, it's not who I am now.

-How do you want me to call you? What do you remember?

-I told you, I was the paperboy.

-Okay, paperboy.

I saw that the bottle of the soda began to move, spinning, as if someone was playing with
it.

-Do you see the wall to your right?

Billy began to explain to me how he had hidden a cable under the wall, and that I could
use it to reach the window.

-Thank you.

I thanked him and went to pull out the cable. Although I tried and failed, I managed to pull
the metal part that covered the window with the cable, but I couldn't reach to open it.
