Into the deep darkness

Chapter 1

"What is this? Dont you know how to make presentation? William told me that you were not even paying attention to it. He prepared the whole presentation. Will you tell me what's your problem?"

"But Sir, I prepared the complete presentation and Will is just trying to put me down. I just asked him to give this presentation to you. I don't know why he said something like this.."

"Oh, so now Sam you will tell me what is right or wrong?"

"No sir, but if it is related to me, its my duty to tell you what is right or what's wrong."

"Brilliant, the person who is the worst employee of the office is talking to his boss about right and wrong. And person like William who is working hard on his level and helping in trying to improve the company position is a liar and trying to put a loser like you down?? Haha, quite nice lie."

"Sir, I've already told you the truth but you dont want to understand it. Then what can I say?"

"Sam, I hope you remember that this was your last chance."
Cutting boss in between his sentence "..and I utilised it completely, sir. Only you can't see it".

Boss temperature rose to another level, "How dare you talk to me like this?? Do you even know to whom you are talking like this? I gave you this last chance because I thought you could do, but now seeing your behavior, I did a big mistake."

"Please Sir, believe me."

"Enough Mr. Samuel Brown, by seeing your work and behavior reports, I came to this conclusion that this company cant afford a person like you."

"...but sir.."

"And you are fired..Samuel do you hear me?You are fired.. You can leave this office now. This is my final decision."

"Before I go, I want to say something to you"

"No need to say anything..."

"I've never seen such a dumbo boss who dont even know what the hell is going in his office and he is firing me without even giving me proper reasons. " and after that without listening to his boss, he came out of the boss room.

When he came out of his office, he saw William and Chris, his collegues and so called friends were gosipping with each other. They were smirking after seeing Sam's face. William came closer to Sam. "Hey Sam! We just heard boss was shouting at you. What happened?" He was trying to show a concerned face but Sam could see the evil smile on his lips. Sam's hand were clenching in a fist but he didn't want to create another scene in the whole office. So he simply said,"Boss dismissed me from this job because you said you prepared the whole presentation for him".

Showing pity face, Chris came near to him and said," Sam, man this is so bad. Hard luck bro. Better luck next time." But Sam didnt have the energy to listen or fight with them. So he simply went to his desk but he could hear the laughter of both of them.

He simply ignored their comments and packed his belongings into a small box. It was 6 O'clock and freezing winter season. He just wore his overcoat and started walking away. When he came out of the building, he just glanced at the building and muttered," I gave 3 precious years of my life to this office to get fired from it. Fantastic!"

He took a deep breath and after that he started walking away from it..
