I was a little confused walking to the first class, trying not to get lost. I'm a new student and this school is huge...

I just hope people here are nicer than they were at Smallville High. Upon entering class, the teacher was in charge of executing the most regrettable presentation possible.

—Very good, this is the new student, [____]. Any questions?

No one raised their hand, as expected. I just wanted to go sit down now. Helping to socialize is not the specialty of teachers.

Among all those faces I recognized Kara, an old classmate in Smallville. I wonder what would become of her after she was expelled.

—Can I go sit down now? —The teacher, whose name I don't remember, nodded and I was finally at peace.

Class went by and I had to go to the moment I hated the most. Lunch...
Back in Smallville, lunch was the favorite moment for bullyies to piss people, so I was a little worried.

I took a solate table, and started to eat peacefully, until a pretty girl approached to me, she seemed kind and took a sit besides me. She started a conversation, trying to find a good topic, or something I liked.

—Hey! I'm Jessica! Is that a book? Books are soo entertainig! —She said, and also she stared a lot at my salad. Weird.

—Uh... sure they are... they are even better if you get to read them in silence. —I said, not trusting her. Pretty girls are often pranking people or messing around. At least that was like in my former school.

—Oh, yeah! Silence is soo silent! —She answered sweetely, as if she was incredibly oblivious to my words.

As days passed by, I got to know her better, and, she was actually nice, helpful, and funny. She wanted to make this world a better place. I was often smiling and hanging out with her, maybe in the park or at vegan restaurants, everityme we were together I felt so alive... so I decided to ask her out. I didn't even know if she was into girls, but... it is worth to try.

—Hey, Jess...

—Hi, [____]! —She greeted me exitedly, giving me a tight hug. —I got all the pets in the shelter adopted! Thanks again for helping

—Hah... no problem... —I said, nervous. —Listen, you know that I really like you, right Jess?

—Of course! I really like you too! —She answered, so oblivious...

This may be more complicated than what I thought.

—Yes, but there's a few things that you don't know about... —She payed attention. —You make me want to act like a better person, take care of the planet and every life!

—Aww, you make me want to be a better person too. —She stated in a friendly tone.

—No, I mean, you are always there, making me feel a strong feeling, fuzzy, but nice... and I don't know how to say this!

—Oh, I think I see what you mean! —She said, you stared at her expectant. —I like your company too!

You didn't know if you were feeling irritated or disappointed.

—No! What I'm trying to say is; I don't want to be friends anymore...

Jess smile dropped.

—What?! Why!?

—Because, I can't thing of you as just my friend Jess... when I said I really like you, I mean it! I... I fell for you... and I know we are so different and it's totally okay if you don't feel the same, but I wanted to take it out of my chest...! —[____] started rambling.

Jess leaned a little and gave the girl a kiss.

—It's okay. I like you too, [____], and I mean, I really, really, really like you! I understand it from the beginning!

—Oh! —[____] smiled. She was really happy.
