I'm watching him from my table at Sweet Justice. He's always smiling, helping people, being nice and working... like oh boy, he's just so perfect...

And, yes, he can be a little... distracted or oblivious some times, but, that's a part of his charm too. Everyone knows about my huge crush on him, well, everyone but him

While I'm staring at him, I can only compare him with the sun... so bright, sweet and gentle to the customers surrounding him. I wonder what Barry thinks of me.

Though, something is for sure... he doesn't think of me the same way he thinks of Babs. If I could be her... things may be different, but I don't want to change for a boy, even if this way he won't be interested...

I'm not her and she's not me.

-Hey, [____]. The usual? -He came to my table, since I didn't go to the bar to order. Well, I was just here to see him, but it wouldn't hurt to eat dessert.

-Oh... I... sure! -I said blushing. I hate to stutter but it happens sometimes, whenever he's around.

-Okay! -He smiled sweetely and in a few seconds Barry was back with my favorite dessert. -Here. -He placed it on the table and rushed to the bar to keep working.

-Oh man... -I sighed in love as I watched him walking away.

-Relax, he's not going to disappear if you stop looking at him for a second. -A familiar voice teased. I looked to my left, finding Kara.

-Ha, ha. You're so funny... -I responded blushing.

-So what? Are you finally going to tell him how you feel? -Kara asked, leaning on her seat.

-No...

[____] started to look away, the blonde rolled her eyes.

-Wow, what a surprise, really, I didn't see that coming. -Kara sarcastically claimed.

-Ugh, you say it like it's easy! -[____] complained.

-Well, it is. Just go. -Kara said.

-It's not that easy Kara! If you were in my place you couldn't do it either!

-Uh, duh, of course I could. -Kara laughed. -In any case it's not me the one who wants to confess to someone.

-Hey girls! -Zee greeted with a smile. -Is it love problems what I hear? -Her smile went wide as [____] blushed shrinking in her seat.

-Brave woman here can't raise her butt up and ask Barry out. -Kara told Zee. Babs started laughing.

Babs is here too?! When did she arrive?

-So it is! -Zee grins.

-I can help!-Babs commented, smiling bubbly as always.

-But... isn't Barry in love with you? -[____] asked the readhead.

-What?! No! We're just friends.

-I can help too! -Karen popped up, appearing next to Zee and Babs in the company of Jess.

-I'll help you too, we can try to set you a date with Barry! -The vegan joined too.

-Oh, and I can help you with your outfit and makeup! -Zee offered.

-Yeah, and I'm out. -Everyone stared deadpanning at Kara. -I'm going to a concert at Lazarus pit, it'll start soon. Good luck [____].

-Good to know my best friend will be always there for me. -[____] told Kara. The kryptonian started laughing and winked at her.

The blonde raised from her seat and started making her way towards the exit. The rest of [____]'s friends standed and started making a plan to get a date for [____] and Barry.

The girls got a double date, killing two birds with one stone, so Diana would go with [____], accompanied by their respective dates, Steve and Barry.

Once the day arrived, [____] didn't know where to hide. Her nerves ate at her. And Diana was probably in the same state. Her heart almost stopped in her chest when she saw Barry arrive accompanied by Steve.

-Hey, [____]! -Barry stepped closer to the girl, she was fangirling inside.

-Hi, Barry! -She greeted exited, with flushed cheeks. Barry leaned to kiss her cheek and that left the girl seeing stars.

-So what do we do first? -Steve asked smiling.

-Let us go to the roller coaster! -Diana claimed, she was blushing. And surprisingly putting together a coherent sentence with Steve by her side.

-Let's go! -[____] took Barry's hand, gaining confidence and leading the way to the rollercoaster.

A night of fun and romance awaited them at the fair.
