Chapter 14

Pete's POV

He left at almost noon and I was spaced out for a while until I heard door knocks, is he back? That soon? I rushed to open it but I found an annoyed face who was ready to scold me off, it was Yul, my dear cooperative manager who puts up with everything I make him go through.

"Why in the world are you not leaving? We have a radio show at 2 pm and its almost 1, we have to rush, and where is your damn phone? Atleast pick it up if you forgot the schedule. What's up with you these  days?"

" Just give me five minutes, I just change my clothes, then we will go." It took me no time to change and toss off the clothes, and rushed towards the car. We reached to the company where my stylist did her job well, I liked the way I was looking. P'Yul almost flew away the car and we reached at 1:55, but they still had to postpone the show by half an hour as they were explaining the script, and we went on air, all the time I forgot about the things going on and just engaged in my work. I was done by 6 pm and left the studio at 7, we head back to the company for the look test and I then remembered that I had to go, I hurriedly checked my phone and there was a message, he send someone to pick me up and a photo of the guy with it, I have seen him before so I can recognize him. 

I decided to go in the outfit I was, as I kinda liked it, and before I could leave, Yul blocked my way.

" Where are you going we aren't over yet?"

" I had something urgent, I had to leave."

" What's up with you these days? You act really weird. You disappear sometimes and I am never been able to reach you, then out of nowhere you came back as fine as ever."

" Its nothing, I just get tired so I switch off my phone and catch on my sleep."

" You are lying, I can see through you. Don't tell me you are dating someone?"

" No way....me ? dating? no way....I am not interested in dating."

" Well I believe that, as you didn't have anything like that, otherwise you would have gone to so many couple spots, dates, romantic dinners and other cheesy stuff like couple rings whatever, but you look fine, but you only act weird, seems like its a crush only."

" Shut up, its not like that, so many people have crush on me." 

" Pete, one thing always remember, in love their is only thing important, timing and trust, you should hit the right note at right time, and then trust in your feelings, if you keep waiting for the other it will be too late, I just want to say this."

" YUL, how do you know so much about such stuff."

" Its only you who aren't dating, I had many experiences before, well don't you have to go somewhere?"

" Yes I have to." And I hastily walked to the car and hit the door hard, whatever he said bring me to reality, we aren't dating but we are way more intimate, what are we exactly? Sex partners? Or a timepass? Or his new toy? The possibilities were so many making my good mood being spoilt, a heartbreak is all I don't want. I will confess to him today, and ask him to either go all the way or end it all together.

We reached his place, it was a confusing way, But the place was splendid, it was a mansion, with modern architecture, the front only made of reflecting windows, by which only insiders can see through. I walked in a awe, what exactly does he do to make this much money. I was being checked but the guard stopped him and we entered the main building, there were so many people, I mean bodyguards there, I have thought of him to be a simple mafia who threatens people and kidnap them for deals but this was something I haven't imagined, it was really similar to those novels I read as a teenager.
