After going to a lot of store and buying honestly more clothes than I've ever had in my entire life, and we were finally ready to leave.

"Alright everyone in the truck last one in is gonna be lookout" Talia said as she walked out the door to the truck with Jack.
Apollo and Aj jump up immediately from the game not even turning it off. Grabbed their bags and Caliope bolted down the stair with hers already on her back. Aj was first out the door, then Cal and Apollo. Aj yanked the door open and jumped in.
"Aye watch my damn door" Jack yelled as Aj sat down and watched Apollo and Cal push each other for Apollo to end up at the car first and Cal last.
"Aww come on that's not fair he tripped me" Cal protested while getting in the car upset.
As she got in the car Aj got out waited a second then got back in making her last to get in. Jack looks at her in the rearview mirror and smiles before he says "Alright I guess Aj is look out."
They get to the cemetery, Aj finds a good vantage point on a hill with a rifle and the Burns family all separate to hunt. Killing ghouls left and right the cemetery is more active tonight than usual. Out of nowhere a shambler starts attacking Jack between the shambler and ghouls Jack is soon overwhelmed and before he can even call out to Talia for back up or one of his kids over the coms (in ear communication devices) a shot rings out and the shambler drop dead and turns to goop on the ground. He takes out the remaining ghouls then looks to the hill he saw Aj climbing up when they separated. At the sound of the gunshot the family rendezvous at a car an hour later.
"Nice shot Aj" Jack says, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Thanks" she replies.
"Alright Cal you're on lookout for the last half hour of the hunt. We're gonna patrol one last time and head home." Talia says
Cal nods her head without protest knowing she would've been lookout if Aj hadn't gotten out of the car on purpose.
They rest of the family leaves while Cal begins climbing a tree to get a vantage point.
"That tree is dying if you go any higher it'll snap under you and you'll fall" Aj said walking away

"Yea yea sure I checked it's a healthy tree. Plus I need to get higher to see." Cal snapped back, as she climbing higher.

Aj hears the branch she's on start to give and turns around and begins to walk back to the tree. The branch snaps Cal falls directly into Aj's waiting arms. Once Cal realized she wasn't hurt she looked up at Aj who had a devilish grin on her face.

"Don't even start. I don't wanna hear your mouth right now" Cal said before getting down

"It's almost like I was right and you could've avoided that by listening" Aj said sarcastically

" I said don't start and she started" Calliope said pretending as if she was talking to herself

"Well I'm gonna go patrol, don't fall out of anything else I don't have demon speed you'll just fall." Aj says walking away Cal could tell she was smiling.

After a half hour everyone meets back up and go home. Once home everyone went downstairs to clean and put away weapons.

"Cal I'll unpack your gear bag if you wash the dishes and shower fast enough that I don't have to wait when I need to take a shower" Aj proposed.

"You've got a deal" Cal said sticking her hand out to shake Aj's

"Didn't ya momma ever teach you not to make a deal with the devil" Aj says and she shakes Cal's hand sealing the deal.

"Yea but she said underdeveloped demons were fine" Cal says with a smile as she walks away smiling.

"Oh damn, personally I wouldn't take that bro" Apollo says
