Robin manned the counter of Scoops Ahoy, while Steve fixed his hair, again. Nancy enjoyed her free ice cream beside the counter.

"How's my hair?" Steve asked, making sure it was flawless.

"It's — alright." Robin said, sarcastically.

Nancy watched Robin's mouth curl up into a smile. Her smile was heavenly, it made her skin tingle, and her spine project chills down it.

"Is something wrong with it?" Steve questioned the girl.

Nancy longed for Robin's smile, her laugh being bone crushing to her, in a lovey way. She didn't realize the stare she was giving Robin.

"Nancy?" Her raspy voice pitched in.

"Huh?" Nancy's eyes widened, snapping out of her trance.

Steve immediately looked at Nancy, raising a brow. "She's really red." He pointed out stupidly.

"Nancy, are you sick?" Robin hopped over the counter, taking a seat next to her.

Nancy looked down at her ice cream, "I'm fine." She meekly answered.

"There's five minutes left until shop closes, how about you swing by my place so I can give you some medicine?" Nancy felt herself burn up even more.

"Yeah, sure." She calmly replied, finishing her ice cream.

Robin bursted out the mall's door, her jacket over her head. she had closed up the shop this time. Nancy was waiting inside her car, rain drizzling on the windows.

Robin ran to the car, immediately hopping inside.

"Geez." Nancy said, smiling at the girl.

"The rain feels bad in a Scoops Ahoy outfit." Robin sighed. She immediately looked over at the girl. "You coming to my place?"

Nancy tapped her fingers on the steering wheel, "Sure."

"Are you allergic to any medicines?" Robin directly said.

The whole car ride, Robin asked about how her cold was keeping up, and along the lines of medicines.

Once Nancy pulled up to the driveway, Robin opened the door for her, putting her jacket on Nancy like a cloak.

"Thanks." Nancy was too stunned to speak, she had known Robin was kind, but never this kind.

"It's nothing, I just don't want you getting even more sick." Robin gently said, grabbing her hand to quickly get her out of the rain.

Once they were on her porch, Nancy noticed that Robin was quickly trying to unlock her door. When she successfully did, she opened the door for the shorter girl, flattering her.

Nancy sat on Robin's sofa while watching the girl immediately race to her kitchen, bringing out a thermometer.

Nancy blushed while Robin inched closer to her, she pulled herself together while opening her mouth so Robin could measure her temperature.

"99.5." Robin muttered, taking the thermometer out of Nancy's mouth. "It's a low fever." She explained to ease Nancy's confusion.

"Oh." Nancy hummed, she was sick after all. She wondered what she would do next. "I guess I'll go home, I don't want you catching a cold." Nancy thoroughly spoke, starting to get up.

"Hey," Robin grabbed her wrist. "Don't worry, my immune system is pretty good." She smiled at the girl.

Nancy was dazed, first Robin did all this for her, and now she's letting her stay? It's confused the fuck out of Nancy.

"Keep the jacket." Robin softly said while pouring Tylenol into her hand to reduce Nancy's fever.

Nancy felt herself melt into the jacket, she remembered how Robin would always wear it and say how it was her favorite jacket.
