"Oh, nothing much, I was just coming to say hello." Nancy said, focusing on Steve.
"Sounds like you're busy!" Steve exclaimed, wheezing again.
"Don't mind him, you can stay if you'd like." Robin said, taking a sip from a soda she got from the food court. Nancy looked at Robin's careless face, she didn't care what other people thought of her, and it made Nancy purse her lips.
"Alright." Nancy calmly said, sitting at a table that was the closest to the counter.
All the three did until closing was talk, business was slow on Monday's. Every time Robin and Steve talked to each other, enduring their words more than Nancy's, she felt a pit in her stomach. Robin and Nancy did hang out a lot, but their relationship wasn't like her and Steve's. It made her jealous, even dreadful at times.
"I bet you ten bucks the next customer orders something that's hard to scoop." Robin leaned her back on Steve's shoulder, snorting in the process.
Nancy's eyes hoisted onto Robin like an anchor, the way she casually threw in bets was majestic, yet it made Nancy laugh.
"Bet!" Steve raised his eyebrows, throwing his hand out.
Robin looked at his hand, she inched her's closer to shake it, then taking it away, brushing her hair.
"Come on!" He pouted, while Robin scoffed at him.

Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, a customer filed into the place. "Hey, how can I help a chick like you?" Steve inclined his voice, seeing that it was a girl.
Robin scoffed, rolling her eyes at the diligent Steve. She then bit her lip, noticing something Steve didn't.
"I'm not a girl, it's Eddie, the one from your school?" The guy sighed, Nancy immediately looked over, trying not to laugh.
Robin and Nancy made eye contact, Robin tilted her head at the two boys, almost bursting out laughter. Nancy pursed a smile, almost laughing too.
"Yeah — I'll have a RockyRoad." Eddie loaned a look from a disappointed Steve.
"Damn it Robin!" Steve turned around, pulling a crisp ten out of his pocket, throwing it on the ground.
Steve then went to scoop the ice cream, pouting in the process. He suffered while he harshly scooped the ice cream.
"Let me help you, little Stevie." Robin sarcastically smiled at him, pushing him aside and perfectly scooping the ice cream into a cone.
"3.99." Robin gestured the cone near Eddie, perching at the cash register. Nancy couldn't help but swoon over over how Robin was leaning on the counter.
Eddie exchanged the money for an ice cream, giving Steve a look when he was narrowing to the exit.
