The dark, black sky began to unleash its rain on those standing on the battlefield. The buildings on the island remained to be on fire as ships could be seen on fire. Some were sunk while others were barely operational as smoke billowed from their hulls. The battle continued to rage on, aircraft in the sky being destroyed. Ships on both sides still fighting one another but it seemed endless as more explosions and destruction were created in their endless clash.
Those on the island were trying to aid their wounded as a large fleet in the ocean was being barraged with endless streams of enemy bombardment from enemy aircraft while taking hits from enemy warships. Smaller fleets were wiped out with ease, as if they were merely mosquitoes in the raging dark blue ocean. The defending ships were barely holding their own against what seemed to be futuristic ships and aircraft.
"We need reinforcements!" one ship girl yelled. The voice came from a girl who had blonde hair, red eyes, a white coat and a blue outfit. Her name was Cleveland, the lead ship of the Cleveland Light Cruiser Class. A girl in silver hair, red eyes, a white coat and a blue and white outfit quickly came to her side. This girl was Montpelier, one of Cleveland's sister ships. "I don't know if anyone can come and assist us, sis!" she shouted as the battle continued to rage. Their sister ships, Columbia, Denver, Birmingham and Biloxi, were in an interlocked battle against the siren warships that continuously came out of portals while trying to get a shot onto the large siren ship that destroyed half of the island and half of the fleet, they were just in.
"That looks like the Orochi!" Columbia yelled as she dodged an attack. "No! It's much bigger than the Orochi!" shouted Biloxi as she shot down two siren aircraft. "Whatever it is, it's going to wipe us all out if we dont do anything!" shouted Birmingham as she barely dodged a bombing run of siren aircraft. The sky began to light up once again but this time it wasn't from the anti-air that the Cleveland class ships were using against the sirens.
"George! Cover Cleve and her sisters!" shouted Maryland as she, Tennessee, Alabama, Monsoon, and Chinook began to arrive onto the battlefield. "Chinook, Monsoon, operation search and rescue are a go! Find Abraham, Benfold and Barry and bring them back to the mainland! We'll be covering you two!" shouted Maryland as she sank two siren warships. "Chosin! Protect the two for us! Farragut! Go assist George!" Tennessee yelled as the sounds of gunfire could be heard quite close to them. She had turned to look at Chosin while giving an order in which it was a fatal mistake. A siren battleship fired a large salvo at the group in which they were aimed at Tennessee.
"Tennessee! Look out!" shouted Maryland but it was rather too late. Tennessee turned to see the incoming projectiles, but she wasn't going to be able to dodge it in time as they were too close already. "Crap!" was the only thing Tennessee could say before an explosion erupted around her. "Tennessee!" Chosin yelled but before he could assist them, siren aircraft began to shoot at him, and he couldn't leave Chinook and Monsoon otherwise they would be sunk.
There was smoke around the last location of Tennessee but soon some of it dispersed, revealing Tennessee to be unscathed from the battleship's shelling however another person seemed to be standing in front of her. Her blue hair seemed to be covered in ash and her riggings were destroyed. Her blue eyes seemed to be losing life as she stood in front of Tennessee, her back facing towards the siren battleship. She was covered in blood as Tennessee was frozen by what just happened. "A-Alabama..." was all Tennessee could say as Alabama gave a weak smile, her body now becoming limp. "Forgive me, sisters..." was all Alabama said as her body began to fall. Tennessee quickly caught her and held her as Alabama was now laying in her arms, bloodied and soon to be lifeless. "N-No, no, no! Alabama! S-Stay with me!" she shouted as tears began to fall. She tried her best to help Alabama, but it was no use as her body was lifeless and no longer reacting to anything.
