Chapter 4: The Final Test

The evening went on as it would normally would at Azur Lane but just with a few changes to it. But out in the middle of the ocean, floating in the sky, a siren simply watched Azur Lane and the new allied forces working together, making her smile sadistically as the idea of causing chaos and mayhem amongst all of them was rather pleasing and exciting.

"I wonder how well they will do for this next test hehe~!"

Day: December 1st, 2022

Time: 20:37

3 hours after the chase had begun..

"I finally caught you!" shouted Captain Simmons as he tackled Ark Royal down to the ground. He then held her down as Private Baker and Private Martinez finally caught up to Captain Simmons, a bit breathless.

"Let me go you bastard! I didn't do anything!" Ark Royal shouted as Captain Simmons held her arms down all the while trying to get the handcuffs into her.

"Damn sir, you can run.." Baker said, panting a little. Martinez went and sat down onto Ark Royal's legs, holding them down as they began to subdue her.

"Are you going to help Baker or are you just going to stand there?!" Martinez somewhat shouted at the tired Private. Captain Simmons was still struggling, trying to get her arm to come to her back.

"Stop resisting!" he shouted as Baker came to his aid, helping him get her other wrist into handcuffs. Ark Royal struggled just a bit more before finally giving up.

"Finally..!" Baker said in which Martinez spoke. "You know, for someone who's supposed to be fit, you're pretty slow." he said, getting off of Ark Royal before helping her up to her feet with Captain Simmons.

"I ain't slow!" Baker said and Captain Simmons then responded. "You are slow. You kept eating those jelly donuts, you were gonna become one sooner or later and look at that, you are one." he said before looking at Ark Royal.

"Why are you arresting me?!" Ark Royal shouted, looking at them as if they were crazy. She wanted to break free and escape but if she did, she would be chased once again.

"Not arresting you, just detaining you." Captain Simmons said. "I saw you staring at a bunch of destroyers.. Well children in fact." he said as Baker held one of her arms rather tightly.

"I wasn't staring at them. I was just watching them! There isn't anything wrong with just watching them play!" she said, countering his claim. However, Captain Simmons seemed to have a few cards up his sleeve.

"Oh? Watching them play, yeah?" he asked, leaning in a bit. "Does watching them play include duct tape, candy and a camera filled with their non-consensual images?" he asked, holding the items in his hand.

Ark Royal's eyes widened as she became pale when Captain Simmons scrolled through the camera, revealing destroyers from each and every faction that were on there. He even noticed that she had a bigger interest in the Sakura Empire destroyers, causing Captain Simmons to become disgusted with her.

"T-Those aren't mine! I'm being framed by you!" she said before Captain Simmons spoke. "HMS Duke of York told us how much of a destroyer-con you are. She mentioned that you tend to get nosebleeds from watching them play and by the looks of it, none of the destroyers even like you."

"I-I... plead the fifth..." Ark Royal said as she seemed to have given up entirely. It seems that Duke of York had told the marines to keep an eye on Ark Royal as her schemes had been spotted by many members of Azur Lane.
