"Ugh! My head!"

Alexa flinched as she opened her eyes. This is her first time getting drunk She was shocked when her eyes adjusted to the sunlight that she was in unfamiliar territory. She looked under the sheets and saw that she was only wearing a man's shirt.

Oh shit!

She explored the room and judging by the decor, she was in a man's room. That very fact gave her the chills.

What the hell happened last night?

Lexi decided to wash up before exiting the bedroom. As she got up, she found her dress neatly foldedon the bathroom's dresser. After she washed up and dressd in the clothes she wore the night before, she felt her tummy rumble.

I'm hungry.

Since she had no idea where in the world she is, she decided to hurry home before anyone, especially her mother, noticed that she didnt come home last night.

She picked up her purse and checked her phone. She noticed that there were a lot of text messages and missed calls from her friends. They must be wondering where she is.

I'll call them when I get home. But right now, I need to get out of here.

She hastily exited the bedroom and jumped when she heard a man's voice speak out of nowhere.

"Good morning."

She gulped as shivers ran down her spine because she thought that voice sounded achingly familiar.

Oh God! Please tell me that it's not who I think it is.

She slowly turned to see that whose voice it belonged to. She felt the color being drained from her face.

Mark!

***Flashback***

Mark kept on tossing ang turning. He couldn't sleep because the conversation he and his father had kept on replaying in his head.

He was still deep in thought when his cellphone began ringing.

Marcus calling..

Mark smirked as he answered the phone. "What's up, Marcus?"

Hey, man! You busy?

"Nope, I was just about to turn in for the night. Why'd you ask?"

Me and a bunch of the guys are heading out to a bar for some drinks. You wanna come?

Mark glanced at the clock on his bedside table and saw that it was a little after 10.

He was hesitant for a moment but agreed. He realised that he wasn't able to get any work done so he might as well unwind with his friends since he hasn't seen them in weeks.

"Yeah, sure. I'll come with. I'll see you in a few minutes."

Great! I'll text you where we're at so you can just follow us there.

"Ok. Later, man."

He jumped out of bed and dresses up in jeans and a long sleeved shirt. As he was fixing his hair, he got a text from Marcus where the meet up will be and to confirm if he was coming. He sent a quick text that he was on his way and grabbed his keys then headed out the door. Even though his house is not far from the pub, he still drove his car because he knew one or some of them are bound to get drunk.

After he was able to find a parking slot, he headed inside the pub. It didn't take long for him to find their group's table.

"Mark!" One of his friends shouted, "it's been a while, my man! How have you been?"
