~Mind~

The last month with the Dursleys was pitiful. Harry's aunt and uncle were bitter towards him and upped his chores by about 3x. The abuse was also twice as worse. They said that they were going to 'beat the weird out of him'. Harry was relieved when he saw King's Cross Station. "What platform did it say to go to?" Vernon's voice brought Harry from his thoughts as they parked.

"Well, uh, platform 9 and 3/4." Vernon laughed at the boy, grabbing the ticket to double check.

"Well, there isn't a platform 9 and 3/4. I guess you'll be living on the streets of London until the end of June." Vernon just laughed as he threw the boys luggage to the ground. Vernon Dursley then got in his car and drove off.

"He is an idiot. No person in their right mind would make a train to a wizard school in plain sight. I will just ask the founders anyways." Harry walked between platform nine and ten and then closed his eyes.

~Hello? Rowena, Salazar, Godric, Helga?~

~What is it young Harry?~ Harry looked to see Rowena standing there.

~Umm.. How do I get to the platform? It's platform 9 and 3/4.~

~You will run into the wall between the two platforms. It's better to run through it than walk. At least it is at first.~ Harry nodded his head, now leaving his own mind.

Harry looked at the wall and sucked in a deep breathe. At least if he didn't make it to Hogwarts, he still wouldn't have to see the Dursleys till June. Harry braced himself and ran, pushing his cart in front of him. He then stumbled as he came onto a platform with people bustling around him.

Harry borded the train, retrieving a small compartment. He immediately pulled out a potions book and started reading. He found potions the most interesting subject so far, it was also the closet he could get to any dark magic though.

After about an hour, the compartment door slides open to reveal the Malfoy heir. Harry smirked, allowing the boy entrance, and immediately greeting the grey eyed boy. "Hello Draco."

"Hello Harry. Who showed you the platform?"

Harry thought for a second. "I'd rather not disclose such information right now." Draco just nodded in understanding before turning to a book that he had pulled from his bag.

The train pulled off about a half-hour later. Their compartment door slid open, and a red headed boy appeared. "Have you seen Harry Potter?" When he saw Draco, he scowled.

"I am him. Why?" Harry responded.

Ron turned amazed and started speaking. "Well, I just didn't believe you were on here. Anyway, you should come hang out with me. That idiot there works with You-Know-Who."

"I'll pass. Could you please leave by the way? We were both reading, and you just barged in." Harry said, returning back to his book.

"Whatever! If he sells you out to You-Know-Who, don't come running to me to save you. "Ronald started walking out the door.

"I'd go to a fly before I went to you!" Harry yelled back, gaining an angry yell from the Weasley boy. Harry and Draco both chuckled.

Time went by, about an hour, whenever Harry finally spoke up. "Draco, you've been staring for ten minutes straight. Do I have something on my face?"

Draco came out of his trance and replied back. "Well, it's just that you look nothing like either of your parents. Actually, you look different than when I first met you. Your face was smoother, and your eyes were green."

"Well, I believe that someone, most likely Albus Dumbledore, applied a glamor to me when I was a kid. Over the years, things have happened to me that caused the glamours to fade. Over this past month, they have vanished fully."

Draco just nodded as he took in the full beauty of the boy. His face was more defined, his hair was shoulder length, which surprisingly didn't look back on an eleven-year-old, his eyes were now black with specks of crimson in them. His skin, which used to be a dark tan, was now pale. He looked nothing like Lily and James Potter.

For the rest of the ride, they continued to have small conversations or read their books. Then, it was finally dark, and the vast fields turned into thick woods. Harry and Draco decided to finally get changed, and by the time they both finished, they saw a beautiful castle. About five minutes later, they pulled into Hogsmeade station.

Harry and Draco walked off the train, only to see Hagrid signaling for all of the 1st years to follow him. Harry and Draco reluctantly followed the giant man to a boat house. They all climbed on the boats, Ronald Weasley tried to climb in the same bout as Harry and Draco, but was beat to it by two other people. The boy who sat down had a dark complexion with dark brown eyes and black hair. The girl had pale skin and short dark brown hair and brown eyes.

"Pansy, Blaise, nice to see you two again." Draco started the conversation, them both nodding before looking to Harry.

"Who is he?" Pansy asked, her voice sweet.

"My name's Harry. Harry Potter." Harry introduced himself.

"Wait, THE Harry Potter?" Blaise look at Harry, taking in his appearance.

"Yes. And before you ask why I look nothing like my parents, I don't wish to tell you that information. It's private."

The two just nodded whenever they heard the Weasley talking about the fact that there was a huge squid in the lake. Harry just chuckled.

As if on que, the squid stuck a tenacle out over Ron's boat. Ronald screamed, like a girl, and Harry smirked. Luckily his and Ron's boats were pretty close so he reached out and touched the tentacle. Everyone watched amazed as the squid popped It's head up and grabbed Harry. Draco tried to grab Harry, but failed. Then, everyone watched as the squid placed Harry on his head. Harry just smiled and pet the squid though. Before being picked back up and placed back in the boat.

They finally got to the boat house on the side of the lake that the castle sat on.
