Revising and Taking notes on these files weren't easy, every little mistake made you have to restart. You started to become irritated now as you reread the file. Making sure you didn't miss anything.
"Is little Miss perfect agent stressed?"
Kyoya's voice rang out as my gaze lifted up from the files towards his, wanting nothing more but to place a hard and good slap onto his cheek.
"Can you genuinely shut up? I'm trying to work."
Your voice filled with once again, annoyance and irritation. The time had flown by and it was nearing the end of the day. Which meant you could go home and unstress the day you just had. But that was in a few minutes.
"Just trying to lighten up the mood. What have you gotten so far?" He asked
"There's nothing much on the file but she definitely put up a fight, which means her DNA is probably nearby her house. Have we checked the security camera footage from that night?"
"I'm not even sure we even asked for it, I'll get on that soon."
The room becoming silent after the small talk. Glancing at the clock and realizing that it was time to leave. I couldn't leave without saying anything though.
"I'm heading out, Can you be here around 10 in the morning so we can go take a look around the area and get the footage?"
A simple question, shouldn't have any problems right?
"I'll be here at 10 then, have a good night."
Feeling a bit unsettled with him just staying for who knows how long in your office, but aslong as you got out, you didn't care.
Walking over towards the elevator and clicking the button. Waiting for the ride as a message appeared on your phone
'I want to talk to you after work tomorrow. Meet me for dinner at 6 PM, I'll send you the details tomorrow.'
Linda. Usually a 'business dinner' only meant one thing. Termination or a promotion. Never in between. You placed my phone back into your pocket as you walked into the elevator, ready to head home for the day.
