"I...I can't say." her response was almost a whisper. If you weren't about 2ft away you wouldn't have heard her. "Why not dear?" Trying your best to tell her we're here for her. "He said he'll do horrible things to me" she was tearing up after the last sentence. "We'll be in contact with you and your family, okay?" you couldn't handle this anymore. The fact someone could do this to a child, breaks your heart. she went back inside and we said our goodbyes to the father. "Hey.Are you okay? you seem pale." the silence was broken by kyoyas voice asking the question. "No yeah, I'm fine." you responded as you opened the car door and got in. god, how could a child you hadn't know for a day affect me so much. the car ride back to my apartment was quiet. pure silence. as we pulled up, you decided why not give this friendship a try. "Hey..kyoya?" you said before getting out. "Yes? do you need something?" he raised a eyebrow when called his name. "Would you like to come inside for a cup of tea?" You awaited his answer. is her going to reject me? you begged he did but part of you did wish he accepted it. "Why not? I love tea." Thats the answer half of you wanted.

Walking up to the front door with him behind you was somewhat, nerve-racking. Once the door was open you went inside and placed your belongings down and took your shoes off. "Nice place you have here." A compliment from kyoya? that's new. "thanks. you can wait on the couch and I'll get your tea ready." He complied with you and sat on the couch. heading to the kitchen you saw your cat walking to the living room. hopefully he likes animals. you put the tea on the stove and sat down at the dining table.

"I didn't know you had a cat" The silence was once broken by kyoya. "Looks like you've met her" pointing at him holding your cat in his arms. a light chuckle emerged from him. "Shit! the tea!" you ran over to the stove and luckily the tea had just started bubbling so you weren't late. grabbing a cup from the cabinet and pouring it. "here you go." you handed him his cup. "smells like..tea." he said. that was kinda funny. "would you like to watch a movie? it's been a while since anyone has been over." you suggested, though it might've been a little to straight forward but oh well. "of course, lead the way." he said. you both walked to the living room and sat down. damn. even the cat. you didn't mind though. you put on a movie and grabbed the blanket that was over the side of the couch.

The time was now 1:47 AM and you were exhausted. you tried to keep yourself awake but you couldn't. before you passed out you remembered laying your head down on kyoyas shoulder. 'im gonna regret this later huh?' was the last thing you thought before you fell asleep.
