What is this feeling?!?

After Donnie left, I still had this weird feeling but I couldn't figure out what it was...

Y/n's POV

I flop down on my bed with a plop. 'What is this stupid feeling!?! It feels like I need to punch something but I also need to coop up into a cocoon with a pint of ice cream...' I pull out my phone turn to the good old internet. 'What does it mean when you feel upset at your guy friends' girl best friend?' I scroll down a little bit til I see, "Why am I jealous of her?" I click on it hoping nothing bad happens and see an...article? I'm skeptical at first but still start reading. As I pass the first paragraph, I realize that I'm jealous of April but why? I have no clue but that's something to figure out later. I'm drained from everything so I take a little power nap.

I wake up to the smell of food. My stomach growls at the thought of food. I sit up, grab my phone, and head downstairs to see my mom in the kitchen make what looks to be grilled cheese sandwiches and soup. "Hey mom..." She jumps, "Oh, I didn't hear you come down. You hungry?" I sit down at the table. "Yeah and I came to a decision..." She turns off the stove, brings the food, and comes to sit next to me. "You did? Who did you decide?" I look down, "I'm gonna stay here with dad..." She grabs my hand and puts her other hand on my cheek. "You know that I love you right y/n. I'm not upset at your decision so would you please look at me." I slowly raise my head with tears in my eyes. "I love you and nothing would ever change that y/n. I know that we will be about 15 hours away but I'll convince grandma to pay for some plane tickets for you to come visit. It will be different but I'll figure out how to work face time on my phone." I chuckle at her comment since I've tried to teach her so many times already and its never stuck. "Thanks mom, I love you too." By the time we were done talking our food was cold but it still tasted good. I give my mom a hug and head up my room. 'It's already early evening, Donnie will probably be coming in a couple hours. I should probably do some of homework given yesterday.'

I finished all that stupid work. I look out my window and notice its gotten darker so I decide to go out on the roof and wait for Donnie. I lean back and stare up at the sky. 'Talking to mom wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but it still sucked.' "Guess who!" Donnie says as he puts his hands on my face. "Hmmmm I wonder, who could this stranger be? I gonna guess Donnie." "Dang you got me haha." Oh, he has a cute laugh. "Anyway where are we gonna go?" I ask while getting up. "If its ok, I was hoping we could got back down to the lair. I want to show you my lab!" "You have a lab?!?" My jaw hit the floor. "Yup! So you up for it?" He smiles with his cute little tooth gap in display. "Of course! Lets get going!" He helps me down the ladder which I am grateful for because I almost fell down. As he was just about to close the lid April is about to come down... 'Ugh great, now I have to deal with her again. At least I know how I feel about her, I'm jealous!'
