It was just a dream

Donnie POV

After working for a bit, I decide to read more about flowers... 

"Ugh, my head is pounding." I put my hand on my forehead and I have 5 FINGERS?!?!?! "AHHHH! What the-" I look at my hands and notice my legs and body are different. I shoot up out of my seat and run over to my mirror. "I'm a...HUMAN!!!!" Happy tears roll down my face. I run out of the lair like I'm on fire and head towards Y/n's house. Once I get to their window, I calm myself down and knock. "One second." There's some shuffling before Y/n opens up the window with a very confused look. "Um, who are you?" I smile, "It's me, Donnie. I don't know how but I got turned into a human." Y/n stares at me in disbelief. "Smile again." I'm a bit confused but I smile. "Oh my god. It really is YOU!" Y/n jumps out on the roof and gives me a huge hug. "You're even cuter-" Y/n shuts their mouth so quick. "You thought I was cute as a turtle..." They look down. "Yeah but you being a human makes it better." 

~No hate on Donnie as a turtle. In the story, y/n doesn't care if he is a turtle or not.~

I feel my face heat up at the comment. "I also think... you're cute." I avoid eye contact as I feel Y/n staring at me. They give me an even tighter hug. "Does this mean you're my boyfriend now." I give them a small peck on the cheek, "Does that answer your question." They snuggle their face into my chest. We leave the rooftop and go into town. "So, where do you want to eat?" I think for a moment. "I'm not sure. I mostly eat pizza so I think you should choose." I smile confident in my answer. Y/n leads me to a small diner that looks to be family owned.

"That food was delicious and sorry for not having any money..." I feel bad for not paying but the look Y/n gives me is so sweet and nice. "Its ok. I figured you wouldn't have any so I brought more than enough." We walk around the park before we head back to their house. I look at Y/n, "Thanks for today. I really enjoyed being able to see the city during the day." Y/n hops in their room. "No problem! I enjoyed spending time with you. Could you lean down here a bit?" I leand forward. Then they kiss me.

"DONNIE! WAKE UP!" I jump up and look at my hands...they're back to normal... "So, it was all a dream."
