"What do you mean?" Genevieve asks.
Gracey isn't fooled.
"I can tell just by the way you act and talk you are not a spirit in the manor or of our time. Nor would a duchess have "carriage men" as you put it." He states. Genevieve tries to get away, to break his hold on her but he pulls her closer and is now locked in the waltzing position.
"Time to confess, "duchess"." Gracey says, raising an eyebrow.
Genevieve sighs, trying to get some air. It's not possible with all of these ghosts making her uneasy. Well, the ghosts and Gracey.
"You want the truth? Fine. I'll tell you the truth. Just like I told your buddy in the portrait room that didn't believe me." Genevieve says harshly. "And I don't think you'll believe me anyhow."
Gracey stays quiet, still expecting an answer and certainly not liking her stalling.

"You are not stuck here more than the rest of us, you are free to visit and roam the world. While, we are stuck here to haunt this place. Forever"
They both stop dancing. Gracey reaches into his pocket and grabs the proper handkerchief and puts it in her hand. He takes the ascot back and puts that away in his pocket.
"If you need proof, then name it and I shall give it to you." Gracey whispers.
Genevieve lifts her head and actually smiles at Gracey.
"Really?" She asks.
"Truly." He takes one of her hands and squeezes it. With her hand in his, he leads her to the stairway and takes her up it and away from the party. Genevieve tried to walk away from the bride and groom but she ended up walking through them.
Despite the master of the house and his guest leaving, the ghosts kept dancing on and on. Their ghostly laughter piercing the ballrooms music and Genevieve's
With Gracey pulling Genevieve along, she thought to herself, I can finally go back home.
