prom night~fluff

It was the week before the seniors graduate. A few months after the upside down. No dnd session was on today so Eddie decided to go. It was just the kids and the young adults (like robin and steve). He didn't want to but he did anyway. It was at steves House so it was a bit like a party but just for them. No one else.

He tried to look the best he could. He wore a white buttoned up, long sleeved shirt with the top button not put together so he could breathe and some black ripped jeans. He also wore some jewellery like a necklace and some rings. And a watch. His hair was up in a man bun with some strands of his curly hair out.

When he was there, Eddie met up with robin and vickie. Apparently robin invited her since vickie was now her girlfriend. Eddie was happy for robin. He then saw dustin with Steve so he walked to them." Hey guys!" He said waving. Steve waved back and blushed a bit.
"Hey munson well done for trying to put on some formal wear. I have to admit you look handsome." Steve replied Walking over to him as dustin walked off to find suzie since she came over to see him.

It was a bit later on in the night. Eddie was starting to feel a bit sad, until 'Eddie my love' by the chordettes started playing.
"Hey freak wanna dance?" Said a boy holding  his hand out for Eddie. He looked up and saw who it was. It was Steve. Eddie gave steve a little smile then took steve's hand. He was then pulled on to the dance floor by the brunette and they started dancing.

Though out the dance they shared smiles, looks and sometimes quiet giggles. Everyone looked surprised at what they were seeing. Dustin was jumping with excitement of his two father figures getting along. suzie and lucas were trying to calm him down but there was no stopping him.

Jonathan and robin were silently clapping and cheering  since they and steve were just talking about his little crush on Eddie and how he should ask him to dance with him. They didnt think he would have the balls to do it, but got proved wrong. Nancy was surprised but happy for them. Will was in his gay denial for he wanted to do that with Mike but couldn't. Will was smiling though this cause his friends were happy. So he was happy. And Mike was confused. El wasn't there since she was trying to find max in her mind.

As the song drew to an end steve then pulled Eddie up to his bedroom and close the door. Eddie was trying his best not to cry because for once in his life he felt like someone cared for him. Steve stared to sit on him bed with Eddie and turn to face him.
"Hey eddie?" Steve then asked a but nervous. Eddie looked at him to show he could continue and that he was listening.
"I kind of like you. I started to like you ever since that night at lovers Lake. Where i got pulled into the upside down and you guys saved me then we had that talk in the woods. I grown feeling for you. I really like you Eddie munson and i have not clue what you did to me but you have intrigued me munson." Steve let out trying ☌ not to cry.
"Steve don't worry i really like you to. Trust me I keep on checking you out, pet names etc. Robin and Nancy caught on i knew by the faces they pulled." Eddie smiled. Steve pulled Eddie in a tight embrace and started to cry a bit.

" I don't what's wrong with me." Steve said while crying a bit more. Eddie joined in the crying." There is nothing wrong with you king Steve." Eddie and steve smiled at each other pulling away from the hug.

" Can i kiss you munson?" Steve asked with consent (cause consent is smexy as fuck). Eddie nodded and he closed the space in-between his and his new found lovers lips.

They pulled away after a while realising there were still people downstairs." We should go back downstairs big boy." Eddie said smiling kissing steves tears away.

After everyone left steve and Eddie went back upstairs and collapsed onto steves bed. They soon got in to some pj's, crawled back into bed and slowly fell asleep into each others arms.
