"Where is the Khanzada?" Mihrimah asked one of the maids helping her get ready for the day. She was shocked how they weren't gossiping already over the fact that neither she nor Arslan spend nights with each other, it was no shock they had separate rooms but it was a shock that they haven't even spent one night together.

"I think in the gardens, Sultanim" the maid answered. Arslan May have been mad at Mihrimah but he was not heartless and made sure to assign maids that spoke in the Turkish language so they can serve Mihrimah right and teach her Crimean.

"Is that so?" Mihrimah stood up from the couch and made her way to the window. She pushed the curtain and looked out to find Arslan standing with a smile on his face, he was not alone though, there was a woman standing in front of him and Mihrimah immediately felt a dislike towards that woman, that woman was not one of his sisters.

"Who is that?" Mihrimah asked almost sounding angry. One of the maids stepped over beside Mihrimah. The maid let a small gasp when she saw who the woman was.

"Sultanim this is Selimiye Hatun, she Ayse Hatun's friend since childhood and it is a known fact that she has had her eyes on the Khanzada since they were children but of course, it was not possible since she is older and he is now married to you" the maid answered. Mihrimah felt her blood boil as she watched Selimiye glance at Arslan with a gaze filled with love. Is this how Arslan felt? Mihrimah didn't like it.

She walked over to the ottoman and picked up her coat, she threw it on with a headscarf and stormed out of the palace. The maids all eyed each other almost regretting telling the Sultana but followed after her nonetheless. Mihrimah stormed over to where Arslan was standing with Selimiye, it was a bit tricky finding the way since she still hasn't learned the way around the palace.

"Mihrimah?" Arslan was shocked when he saw Mihrimah approaching him and Selimiye. Selimiye turned around so fast that she almost caused herself to fall. She was shocked by the beauty of the woman making her over to the pair. She felt happy seeing the jealousy on Mihrimah's face as she neared them.

"Arslan" Mihrimah nodded at her husband before turning to eye Selimiye Hatun. Selimiye bowed to the Sultana with a smirk on her face.

"Selimiye Hatun, she is Davud Pasha's daughter, Davud Pasha is the grand vizier of Crimea" Arslan introduced the two. Mihrimah attached herself to Arslan's arm with a fake smile on her face. Arslan looked down at her confused and could only assume she was doing so to protect her dignity and he didn't push her away or comment. Selimiye eyed where the two were connected causing her smile to flatten a little much to Mihrimah's joy.

"Selimiye Hatun, the daughter of Davud Pasha, I have heard some things about you" Mihrimah looked the brunette up and down causing Selimiye to feel self-conscious.

"Only good things I hope" Selimiye giggled awkwardly. She could feel the tension rising as Mihrimah looked her in the eyes. Selimiye was not stupid and she knew not to mess with an Othman Sultana but her love for Arslan clouded her intelligence.

"Not all" Mihrimah let out a fake giggle imitating Selimiye. Selimiye looked at Arslan for help but he was too busy watching Mihrimah and waiting for her next move.

"I heard how you were stuck up and refused over a hundred marriage proposals, I wonder why" Mihrimah patted her chin sarcastically. Selimiye gulped and looked down at the floor. She knew that Arslan could never marry her even if he was in love with her, she was a few years older than him and also he was not allowed to marry a second wife while married to Mihrimah; but she dreamed of becoming his second wife even if it's impossible, that dream made her realize that even if he married her she won't be his first or second priority, not even third with the dynasty, Mihrimah, and his future children.

"N-none of them w-were what I was looking for" Selimiye stuttered feeling pressured under the fierce gaze of Mihrimah Sultan.

"Of course, you are a Pasha's daughter after all and deserve only the best however no one will be as lucky as I, I married the perfect man, sweet and kind and noble" Mihrimah looked up at Arslan while rubbing his bicep. Arslan looked like he was frozen in place as their eyes locked and he couldn't find the strength to stop Mihrimah.

"I should go" Selimiye bowed and scrambled out of the gardens hurriedly. Mihrimah watched Selimiye's retreating form as her fake smile morphed into a frown and she kept your a sigh almost like she was composing her feelings. Mihrimah ripped herself away from Arslan much to his shock.

"Listen well Arslan, I may be able to tolerate your temper tantrum but I will not tolerate you belittling me in front of peasants" Mihrimah hissed pointing her finger at Arslan angrily

"Listen well Arslan, I may be able to tolerate your temper tantrum but I will not tolerate you belittling me in front of peasants" Mihrimah hissed pointing her finger at Arslan angrily. Arslan felt aroused by the way she was angry and jealous over him but he pushed that feeling as far back in his mind as possible.

"I see no fault in what I did" Arslan shrugged his shoulders.

"I saw you standing with Selimiye like you saw me standing with Bali Bey" Mihrimah hissed lowly so the maids and aghas won't hear her sentence.

"I was not declaring my love for her" Arslan hissed back reminding Mihrimah that he was angry over her being in love with Bali Bey and not over the fact that he saw them together, at least not anymore.

"Neither was I" Mihrimah was so frustrated she wanted to rip her hair out.

"But you can't deny that you love or loved him or that you have feelings for him" Arslan fought back. Mihrimah sighed rubbing her face frustrated. She felt embarrassed that the maids and aghas were witnessing them fight not even a month into their marriage.

"And you can't deny that she loves you" Mihrimah shot back. Arslan felt shocked by her words and looked at her wide-eyed. He was not stupid and could see the affection Selimiye held for him but he didn't believe Mihrimah could see it too. Mihrimah shook her head and stormed back into the palace leaving Arslan speechless and planted in his place. Arslan felt his heart beating faster than it should as he watched Mihrimah walk away from him, he didn't know if he was sad that they were fighting or happy that she was jealous over him. It didn't feel like she was protecting her dignity anymore, it felt like she was jealous the second she asked him about Selimiye's feelings. Arslan felt even more confused now on what to do from this point on.
