-Arslan's POV-

"Your majesty" I bowed to sultan Suleiman khan. He smiled and held out his hand. I took his outstretched hand and kissed it respectfully and touched it to my forehead.

"Have a safe trip, Khanzada" Sultan Suleiman patted my shoulder. I bowed my head and moved beside him to Hürrem sultan, my mother in law.

"Hürrem sultan" I took her outstretched hand and kissed it respectfully.

"Be careful on the way" she said eyeing someone behind me. I turned to see who she eyed and found Mahidevran sultan and Mustafa standing along with Hatice sultan and Sahihuban sultan in a different line.

"Do not worry Sultanim, no one can ruin the union between our dynasties" I reassured

"Do not worry Sultanim, no one can ruin the union between our dynasties" I reassured. She smiled proudly and looked at the women over my shoulder with a smirk.

"Sehzade" I bowed my best to Sehzade Mehmed who did the same.

"Khanzada" he greeted. I moved to Sehzades Selim and Beyazid who bowed to me being younger than me and with a lower statues.

"Sehzades, I hope you both stay healthy until we meet again" I patted both of their shoulders. They smiled at me and bowed a second time. I moved to the youngest sehzade who looked up at me shyly. I grinned and kneeled down in front of him. I ignored the horrified gasp my mother let out as if she saw me sin.

"Sehzade Cihangir" I greeted with a smile. Cihangir's eyes shined happily finally having someone come down to his level.

"Protect my favorite sister, Khanzada" Cihangir said innocently. I turned beside me to look at Mihrimah who was saying farewell to her mother still, both unable to let each other go with tears in their eyes as Sultan Suleiman patted his daughter's shoulder to comfort her.

"I will do my best" I snapped back and cursed myself in my head for admiring her. She was a woman who married me only because she had. Her heart belonged to someone else. Cihangir gave me a quick hug before I stood back up. I turned around and moved to the side so I was standing beside my mother who sent a glare mh way, she didn't like the fact that I kneeled down in front of Sehzade Cihangir but in the end he was still a child and I couldn't let myself intimidate him with my height.

My eyes trailed to Mustafa who was watching Mihrimah bid farewell to the rest of her siblings. His eyes turned to look at me as if sensing my gaze on him. He nodded at me with a soft smile. I nodded back with an equal smile. My eyes trailed behind him to Bali Bey who was looking forward like any other soldier. My smile slowly fell as I watched him for a second. A man build like a bear with swords on both of his hips. I clenched my fists when his eyes trailed to Mihrimah who finished her farewells and moved to stand by my side wiping her eyes from any tears.

"Have a safe trip, Sahib Khan" sultan Suleiman said smiling at my father. My father placed a hand over his chest and bowed. He was the first ti leave the room with my mother behind him. I sent a glare Bali Bey's way before following behind them. Mihrimah sent one last glance her mother's way before following behind me. My sisters were already waiting in their carriages and one last remaining carriage was waiting for Mihrimah.

"Careful" I held my hand out for her to take. She smiled at me and took my hand and used it as support to get into the carriage. My mother pushed my hand away and got in with Mihrimah in the carriage which surely wasn't arranged and I was sure Mihrimah will be riding alone now I know Mihrimah will surely suffer the entire way to Qirq Yer because of my mother.

"Poor girl" my father chuckled climbing on the back of his horse. I walked over to my horse and climbed his back with ease.

"She'll be alright" I nudged my horse forward. My father let out a sarcastic laugh and nudged his horse forward.

-Third Person's POV-

Arslan was glad they finally made it to Qirq Yer after a week of travels. If Arslan had been alone he would have traveled it in half the time but carriages couldn't go so fast without breaking. Arslan pushed himself off of his exhausted horse who let out a huff and followed the stable boy.

Arslan walked over to the first carriage and held his hand out to whoever was in it. An aged hand shot out and took his, his mother emerged first with a smirk on her face. Arslan could only imagine the miserable look on Mihrimah's face. Fatima stood to the side awaiting her daughter in law so she could show her the way. Mihrimah stepped down next with a frown on her face.

"Welcome to Qirq Yer's biggest palace The Khan Palace" Arslan introduced moving to the side. Mihrimah's eyes widened as she looked at the palace. It was nowhere near how big Topkapi Palace was but it was much bigger than she had imagined.

"My mother shall show you around the harem where you will reside" Arslan explained. Mihrimah snapped her head in his direction and looked Arslan shocked.

"Harem?" She asked with a harsh tone in her voice.

"No worries, Sultanim, none of them are mine

"No worries, Sultanim, none of them are mine. Our engagement was decided before I could have a harem so I never did" Arslan explained. Mihrimah felt bad a little, she stopped him from having a love life only for him to find her with the man she used to have a childish crush on.

"Oh" was all Mihrimah could muster after. She bowed her head and moved to Fatima Hatun feeling a lump in her throat. She couldn't spend one more minute with that woman who didn't stop for a second voicing her dislike toward her the entire way from Istanbul to Qirq Yer.
