"That is not a word Louis." he laughed, flicking Louis' random bunch of letters of the scrabble board. "Harry!" Louis tutted, making Harry grin widely.
"Oh damn." Louis huffed after a while, making all three of the boys look up. "What's wrong Lou?" Harry asked in concern. "It's just." Louis frowned, looking back up to Harry. "I can't spell 'cutie' without 'u'" he smiled widely. Harry blushed and glared playfully, before clearing his throat. "Cutie isn't even a word." he smirked, watching Louis' grin fall. "Do you know how long I've waited to say that joke guys?" he asked. "Soz babe." Zayn smirked, patting Louis on the arm gently. "I thought it was good..." Louis mumbled quietly, making Harry smile. "It was very funny Lou." he smiled, rolling his eyes playfully. "Nope, your words mean nothing to me." Louis huffed sarcastically, turning away from Harry dramatically. "Louis shut up would you." Niall shushed, slapping Louis lightly. "Bitch did you just." Louis frowned, glaring at Niall and holding his arm. "What can I say?" Niall shrugged, flashing a grin at Harry, who smiled back. He was glad they were all getting along. It was much more fun, even though Louis still wasn't too keen on Niall, but he was definitely getting there.
"Oh shit! Fire wood." Zayn groaned after they finished their game of scrabble. "And it's our turn." he huffed, getting up slowly, and then holding out his hand to Niall. Harry smirked to himself. This meant Louis and him would get some alone time. Ever since the mood was killed, Harry was waiting for an opportunity to create a new mood. "So um, how long do you two think you'll be?" Louis asked the boys just before the opened the cabin door, obviously trying to sound casual. Zayn frowned and then shrugged. "I don't know man, how ever long it normally takes? Half an hour or something." he smiled suspiciously, before adding a look at Niall, who shrugged and opened the door. "We'll see you two soon okay." Niall grinned closing the door with a little wave.
As soon as the door was shut, Harry looked at Louis, who stood up, and held his hand out to him. Harry took it gently, and let him be pulled onto the couch, next to Louis. "I figured, now would be a good time to re-create the moment, don't you think?" Louis whispered, pushing some of his curls out of his face, making Harry blush. "I think I agree." Harry nodded shyly, smiling at Louis slightly. He smiled back, and nodded slightly, as if telling Harry, "Okay." and just as he leaned in, the door opened again, and both the boys jumped apart.
"THAT WAS NOT HALF AN HOUR!" Louis yelled in a frustrated tone. Niall stood frozen in the door with a confused look on his face. "Woah, calm down okay? We just need to replace the torch batteries, the other ones died." he stated, finally walking in. "What's up with you two?" he added as a second thought. Harry sat on the couch blushing very brightly, and Louis' face was very red as well, but Harry assumed that it was because he was angry. "Nothing." Louis glared, in a sassy tone. "Doesn't look like nothing.." Niall muttered. "Why don't you go and collect your wood yeah?" Louis huffed, crossing his arms stubbornly, reminding Harry very much of a three year old child just after a tantrum. "Yes sir." Niall saluted with a smirk. "We're off for around half an hour okay?" he grinned before closing the door again.
"Well, I guess I'll take a shower then." Louis muttered to Harry, getting up from the couch stiffly. "Oh, okay, then." Harry smiled, staying seated awkwardly on the couch. Louis smiled, and grabbed a towel, before disappearing into the bathroom. Harry let out a breath he didn't realise he was holding.
Boredom quickly took over Harry, and he found himself lying down on Louis' bed. He poked his fingers through the wooden boards above him, just like Louis had done the nights before, making Harry smile to himself. He didn't really know what do to. Harry hadn't been alone in the cabin yet. It almost reminded him of being back home, in his own bedroom. Harry was so used to being around the boys, he had almost forgotten being alone.
Harry was always alone when he was home. His older sister Gemma was away at collage, and his mother was always working. Harry hadn't seen his dad since he was three, and never expected him to show up again. Harry's eyes started to burn whenever he thought about his dad. He was always too young to understand why he left, and when he got older, he mum never wanted to talk about it. He asked Gemma once and she broke down crying, so really, the only person who he could talk to his dad about was Liam, and Liam obviously didn't know why he had left. And the further Harry thought about the situation, he had come to the realisation that he had lost Liam too.
He didn't understand why he would be such a dickhead all of the sudden. It was like Liam was jealous just because Harry had started to actually get some friends. He just didn't understand how after all those years, he could just turn around and act like that. It wasn't like Liam.
"KNOCK KNOCK! IT'S BEEN EXACTLY HALF AN HOUR!" Niall's voice yelled from outside the cabin making Harry laugh. "You can come in, Louis' in the shower." he called back, still chuckling. He watched the door open, and the two boys file in, logs filling their arms. "What was up with Louis before? He was so-" Niall began. "Jumpy?" Zayn finished in question. "Yeah, Jumpy." Niall nodded. Harry shrugged. "I dunno, maybe he was a bit tired that's all." he suggested, not making eye contact with either of them. "What did you two get up to when we left?" Niall asked casually as he and Zayn put down their wood. "Nothing much... As soon as you left, Louis hopped in the shower." he said truthfully. Niall frowned, and turned back to Harry slowly. "Ah Harry?" he asked, walking a bit closer. "Yeah?" Harry smiled. "Is there something going on between Louis and you?"
