The shrill sound of the bell pulled the group from their thoughts, they all rushed out of the AV club, Odette, Will and Max at the back. "We have to show him to Mr. Clarke", Lucas says.
"What if he steals my discovery?!"
"He's not going to steal your discovery", Mike declared.
"I'm thinking on calling it Dustonious Pollywogus", Dustin laughed.
"That's a horrible name", Odette says. "What would you call it then?" Dustin asked her.
"Pollyette, of course", Odette laughed. Dustin scoffed and turned to Max. "What do you think?" He asked her. Max chuckled a little before responding,
"You two are idiots BUT her name is prettier"
"You know when I become rich and famous for this one day, don't come crawling back saying, 'omg Dustin I'm so sorry for being mean to you back in the eighth grade", Dustin mocked as the four walked ahead of Will and Odette.
Odette turned to Will, "Hey are you okay?" She asked him.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Just out of it today", Will said, smiling softly.

The four stood around Mr. Clarke's desk and Dustin let out a exhale before saying, "This was the reason I was late to class", He placed the trap on the table. "Neat! Do these drops function?" Mr. Clarke asked, looking at the item in awe.
"Yeah, obviously. But it's not about the trap", Dustin said. "It's what's inside", usually Odette would make a poetic joke about what he just said but she didn't want to ruin his "big discovery".
"Now, this very well may change your perception of the world." Dustin started. "Considered my interest piqued", Mr. Clarke said, smiling.
"Let's get one thing straight, this is my discovery, not yours", Dustin tells him with made Lucas and Odette yell at him and unison, "DUSTIN, JESUS, JUST SHOW HIM!!"
"I'm just trying to clarify—" "Dustin." Max cut him off.
"Okay, fine", Dustin said and went to go open the trap before the door slammed open, revealing Mike and Will. "STOP!!!" Mike shouted.
"I'm really sorry Mr. Clarke it was a stupid prank", Mike rambled to Mr. Clarke, grabbing the trap.
"What the hell are you doing?" Dustin asked.
"We need to go to the AV club right now." Mike tells them out of breath. "Mike—" Dustin gets cut off, "RIGHT NOW!!"
