"Will, tell us if you feel anything", Dr. Owen says to the boy. A doctor held a blow torch in his hand. Odette's eyes widened; she went to yell at him, but Mike calmly held her back, placing a hand on her shoulder, rubbing his thumb back and forth.
"Trust him", He whispered to her. Surprisingly that helped calm her down.
The doctor brought out a chair with wheels. A metal box rested atop it.
He carefully brought the torch closer to whatever was inside of it. Will's arm jerked slightly as soon as the torch made contact with it.
The monitor beeping steadily.
Dr. Owens eyes went from the monitor to Will. "Do you feel anything?" He asked.
"A little sting . . ." Will stammered.
"It stings? Where?"
The random burning sensation frightened Will into an upright position as he gripped his hospital gown where his heart would be. "My . . . Chest", He mumbled. Screeching could now be heard from the metal box.
The more the man brought the torch closer to the box the worse Will would get so he decided to test that theory. The doctor lowered the torch down. "How about now?" Dr. Owens asks.
"It . . . burns!" Will groaned.
The doctor decided to put the flame directly above whatever was in the box. Will jumped up and let out a shout as the grip on his gown became harsher.
"IT BURNS!!" He shouts.
"Where?!" Dr. Owens asks.
"EVERYWHERE!!!" Will screamed.
Odette pushed Mikes arm off of her. "THATS ENOUGH!" She shouted; but the doctor just brought the torch closer. Will screamed. The box cracked. "STOP!!" Joyce yelled.
The glass on the cupboards above Mike and Odette cracked. They were too focused on Will to notice.
"THEY SAID THATS ENOUGH!" Hopper shouted, jumping down from the counter, placing a hand on Wills shoulder.
What the fuck is wrong with that doctor.

Odette sat in a plastic chair beside Will's hospital bed. Nails digging into her palm, probably hard enough to draw blood. Her leg bounced up and down anxiously as she stares at her younger brother.
Joyce let out a sigh.
"Hey, don't worry doctors usually take forever! Just be patient", Bob reassured, placing a hand on her thigh as he smiled at the women.
"I know . . ." She sighed.
Mike sat beside Odette. He had his arm around her shoulder like it's been for half the day. He still hated her, but Odette was a laidback person, seeing her so tense was strange. Mike couldn't stand it. And for some reason this is the closest they've been.
Joyce sighed. "I just . . ." She mumbled as she stood up, throwing the scratchy hospital blanket off of her shoulders, rushing out of the hospital room.
Will watched as she argued with the police guarding the exit door. His vison blurring, streaks of lights flickered. He was lightheaded and dizzy.
His vison focused on the gun in the polices pocket.
"Will."
"Will."
"WILL!!"
Will jumped as he turned to face Odette and Mike who were both staring at him in concern. "Are you okay?" Odette asked. "Are you hurting again?" Mike queers, glancing at the boy.
"I . . . I saw something", Will stammered. "I don't . . ."
"In your now memories?"
Will nodded softly and starts: "The shadow monster . . ." He blinked. "I know how to stop him."
