I park my car and head towards our meeting spot, I see almost everyone is there, only Safiya is missing which is not surprising she does run on african time. I was about to go make a joke about her not being here yet when I heard a high pitch screech, which when I listen to it more I recognize as safiya saying my name. I stop in front of the others and slowly turn around only to have her jump into my arms hugging me so tight I could barely breathe.

"Ugh, nice to see you too Safiya."

"You can let her go now, hold on any longer and her face will turn blue."

"Okay okay, you're no fun Ashley."

"Okay guy, I'm quite stalling, let's go eat, I'm starving."

"Let's get daytime wasted girls."

"....Kate I would rather not have to drag your drunk ass around the mall for three hours."

"Okay let's get day time tipsy then?"

"At least you won't have to drag her around the mall, Ash."

"Why do I even bother trying to get you to stay sober?"

"Because you believe in miracles."

We head into the restaurant and get a table outside on the patio. We order our food and I start filling them in on everything that happened starting from the very beginning. I kind of put off telling the others about the wedding until now, I had to kick them under the table to stop them from screaming when they found out. I'm glad they hate him as much as I do, hell they probably hate him more than me. They asked me if I was actually going to go, I told them that I was thinking about it. I don't want to see him again but the thought of showing up and flaunting my fabulous life in his face is tempting. I can just see it now, I'd drag some arm candy to the wedding and flaunt how much happier I've been since I left him. I know the only reason she invited me was to rub his happiness in my face. I wonder who I should bring....I could always bring Dave, but I don't want to drag him into this. Knowing Dave he'd go out of his way to make up some lie about how we're also engaged, he'd hold me close to him and look into my eyes just to see my ex turn red with anger at just how quickly I moved on. It would probably sting knowing I moved on with the one person he thought I cheated on him with. You know when I think of it I should ask Dave to be my date to the wedding. I am known for being extremely petty; this is definitely right up my alley.

I get out of my daydream and turn to the girls with a devilish grin on my face, I can tell by my looks of concern that they know I'm about to suggest something crazy.

"I don't like that look B, you thought of something extremely petty didn't you?"

"Don't tell us you're actually thinking about going?"

I feel my smile widen as Grace hits the nail on the target, I can see them getting more concerned.

"Who are you even going to bring to the wedding?"

"Please don't tell me you're going to use sweet baby Dave for this little skeme."

"Hey he already thought I was cheating on him with Dave in the first place, might as well get with the one person he hated the most."

"Brooklyn no, this is where I draw the line. You know that man is over the moon for you, he'd do whatever you asked of him. Don't use his feelings for you as a way to get revenge."

"Yea about that, I kind of already made up my mind before I even told you guys my plan soo."

"Mind reading powers would come in pretty handy right now."
