I just ordered Carbonara and milk, and also bought an egg and bacon sandwich.
Yung mga kasama ko they're angry with me because I supposedly didn't tell them about the Physics quiz. How was I supposed to know they didn't know?! Why was it my fault! They even called me selfish!
Angela kept giving me dirty look, tanggalan kita ng mata dyan.
"Bagsak na talaga ako nito!" Ashi said.
"Do we have any other quizzes?" Flaire asked. Parang galit ka?!
"As far as I know, mayron sa 21st Century." Heart answered.
"Is that all?" Angela looked at me, does she have trust issues? Bakit sakin nakatingin! Sobrang sama ko naba na di ko sinabi sa kanila na may quiz! Eh hindi ko nga alam eh!!
"Yeah, but as far as I know, Ms. Mary gives surprise quizzes." I said tersely while focusing on what I was reading. After this lunch, Oral Communication na, even though I had already reviewed at home, I still need to review.
They also fell silent, almost no one was talking because we were all focusing on reviewing.
"Good afternoon class, we have a quiz today." Ms. Mona said.
No one complained about what she said, they probably prepared for it. As soon as the paper was handed out, we started answering, 50 items. I finished in less than 20 minutes, it was too easy, couldn't it be harder?
My friends also finished quickly, Flaire was the next one to pass her paper after a few minutes.
"You'll find out your scores tomorrow, and please keep your papers, put them in a portfolio, the activities, performance tasks, and quizzes, they're graded. That's all, goodbye!" Ms. Mona quickly left our room.
"Sobrang dami namang quiz!!" said the guy almost sitting next to me, Kiel.
Our next subject professor entered immediately, so we fell silent and just listened. My guess was right, Ms. Mary did give a surprise quiz, I didn't find it difficult because I reviewed, my friends also didn't complain because they were prepared, only some of our classmates complained, especially yung mga lalaki na nasa right side ko!
"I'm so super exhausted na!" Heart said. "Let's go out, let's eat, I'm hungry daming quiz naman kasi." she added.
"You're always hungry." Sofia said. Nagtawanan naman kami kaya nakabusangot si Heart.
In the end, we're here now in one of Heart's family-owned restaurants. She also ordered a lot, it's all free anyway.
We didn't stay long there, I left them first, I still had to go to the office. I'm in CEO mode now.
"Good Afternoon ma'am!" The staff greeted me.
"Good morning, ma'am. The papers you need to sign are in your office. Also, at around 7, you have a business meeting with Mr. Rodriguez." I nodded in response.
"Give me a coffee." She quickly left, and I entered the elevator and went to my office. So many papers!
I read through each one, approving some and not approving others.
"Ma'am, just a reminder that you have a meeting," Secretary Sai said. I looked at her, realizing that it was almost 7 and I was still in my uniform.
I stood up and approached a closet where my business attire was kept.
"You can get the other papers. I haven't finished some of them, so I'll take them home," I said as I chose what to wear.
"Yes, ma'am." She took the completed papers. I also selected the outfit I would wear.
"Let's go, Sec Sai!" I called, and she hurriedly followed me.
She told me where we would meet, and I was surprised that we still had to travel for an hour!
"What is this, Sai? We still have an hour before we get there!" I yelled in frustration.
"What time is it?"
She didn't respond.
"Contact him, tell him we'll be late!" She immediately did as I instructed. Nanginginig na yung mga kamay nya sa kaba. Di ko nalang pinansin ito, at nag fucos sa pagmamaneho
"Good evening, Ms. Corpin," Mr. Rodriguez greeted me. Kakarating lanh din namin.
I shook his hand and his secretary's hand.
"Good evening, Mr. Rodriguez," I greeted him.
"Please have a seat," his secretary said, assisting me.
"Shall we begin?" I asked.
"Ah, I'm sorry, let's wait for my only son. You can go ahead and order," I smiled at him.
"No problem, Mr. Rodriguez. I apologize for being late. There was heavy traffic," I said politely. Mr. Rodriguez smiled back at me.
Dumating na din yung order namin, even though I was already full.
"Sorry for the delay," someone said. I turned to look. What?!
He was also surprised to see me.
"Please sit down!" his father scolded him for taking so long to sit. I avoided his gaze.
"Let's start!" I pretended to be cheerful.
Mr. Rodriguez's secretary explained what he wanted to happen. I could feel Javier's eyes on me!! I didn't even pay attention to my food, I was still full.
"Thank you very much, Ms. Jennie. I'm impressed that at your age, you're already skilled in these matters," he said with a sweet smile.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Rodriguez."
I noticed his glance at his son.
"Thank you," I smiled at him insincerely.
"We'll go ahead," I grabbed my bag and took out my wallet.
"I'll pay, Ms. Jennie," I smiled at him, but I still took out 3k.
"Kkb tayo, Mr. Rodriguez. We'll go ahead," I placed the 3k on the table.
I left immediately, ibinaba ko sya kung saan ang pauwi nya sa bahay nila. We passed by there anyway.
Hinintay naman ako ni Nay Belet na bumaba sa kotse ko.
"Kumain kana ba iha? Ginabi ka na naman ng uwi." Sabi nito
"Please get the papers inside the car and bring them to the office room. I'll just take a shower," I handed her the car keys.
I went straight to my room, organized my things, and went into the bathroom to take a shower. I was feeling tired.
Afterward, I went to the office room and finished the papers. There were still many left. I'll be sleep-deprived again!
"Iha, here's some milk," I heard Nay Belet's voice.
"No thanks, just put it down," I replied, and she didn't bother me further.
Once I finished, I arranged the papers and turned off the lights. Then, I went to my room and checked my notes for any quizzes or assignments due tomorrow. Luckily, there were none.
I went through my skincare routine and finally went to sleep. Finally, I could get some rest!
