You told the group that you wanted to stay with Eddie, you didn't want him to be all alone with God knows what is out there.
Eddie is still sitting in the same spot not moving anytime soon while he bites his nails which is a habit he got off you.
"Do you remember when we first met? And had a real conversation" you ask turning to Eddie making him look up at you
"Yeah, outside of Max's trailer" he answers you
"You asked me why i had cuts and bruises all over me" you say pulling a chair to sit in front him
"Cause of the mall fire" Eddie says with a nod
"That's not what happened" you say nervously
"And you're telling me this now? Why?" he asks you confused
"Dustin was telling you about the other world the bleeds into ours. It's more like another dimension" you start explaining
"Another dimension?" Eddie asks moving forward a little so he can hold onto your leg for comfort
"This girl named Eleven she has some type of superpowers that are able to open and close a gate to the dimension which we call the Upside Down" you keep explaining making Eddie more and more confused "While Robin, Steve and i were working at the mall Dustin started to believe that Russians where trying to do something, like a war or something"
"Sounds like something Dustin would think" Eddie says with a nod
"Right?" you say making him chuckle "So we figured out he was right"
"Oh great" Eddie groans hitting his head on your knee softly
"And that they were trying to open the gate to the Upside Down. They caught us and beat the shit out of us that's why i looked like that" you say with a sigh
