Outside the Wheeler house, Nancy, Steve, Robin and Dustin are all helping pick up some donations to help with the 'Earthquake disaster'.
"Hey, Nance! I found some more of your old stuff in the attic" Karen says holding a box of Nancy's old things
"Mr. Rabbit" Nancy says picking up a toy
"It's okay if you wanna save him, you know?" Karen asks her
"No, he'll be more loved in a new home" she tells her grabbing the box
"Someone order a pizza?" Karen asks them as she watches a pizza van pull into the driveway
The van parks and five people get out of the van. Mike, Will, El, Jonathan and Argyle.
"Mum!" Mike says running towards her
El and Will run straight over to Dustin as Jonathan goes to Nancy.
"You are never going on vacation again, you hear me?" Karen tells Mike pulling away from their hug "In fact, you can forget about college. You are staying right here" she says pulling him into another hug
"Are you okay?" Jonathan asks his girlfriend
"Yeah. Yeah, i'm okay" she answers him "But, Jonathan-"
"This isn't an Earthquake" Jonathan says cutting her off "I know. I know a lot more then you think"
"How? We've been trying to call you-"
"I know" he cuts her off again "I know i'm sorry. We just couldn't risk contact"
"'We couldn't risk contact'?" she asks him confused
"Hey, hey, i'll tell you everything, okay? I promise. But for now. I'm just glad you're safe" he says kissing her forehead
"Wait, where's (y/n)?" Mike asks looking around not seeing his older sister
"She's at the hospital" Karen tells him
"Is she hurt?" El asks as the rest walk over to them

With Steve and Robin in the lead, Nancy, Mike and Jonathan not far behind with Dustin, El and Will following they walk into the hospital room. They walk in to see you sitting at the bed holding someone's hand, and that someone is Eddie Munson.
Eddie has been wrapped up and taken care of by your request very carefully with basically his whole body coved in bandages and he is wearing a hospital gown.
You are sitting next to him on his left side closest to the window with your hand laced with his looking like you haven't slept in days.
"Hey, (y/n/n)" Steve says softly making you look up to him
"Mike, oh my god" you say looking at your little brother who has a shocked and confused face on
"What happened to Eddie?" Mike asks you as you walk over to him wrapping your arms around him
"Well he got-" Steve cuts himself off as you give him a look
"Is he going to be okay?" Mike asks as you pull away
"Yeah, the doctors say he should be awake soon" you say with a smile
El walks over to you giving you a smile before sitting down beside Eddie and grabbing his hand. As she does that Will walks over to you wrapping his arms around you.
"(y/n)" El says softly making you pull away form Will and walk over to her
"Yeah?" you ask
"He's still there" she says smiling at you
"What do you mean?" you ask her confused
"He says he loves you and he'll see you soon" she says watching as the tears form in your eyes
"Tell him i love him and i'm not leaving" you say as Mike walks over to your side wrapping his arms around you
"He says he can't wait to see you" El says let's go of Eddie's hand making you chuckle
"Have you guys seen Lucas?" you ask and they shake their heads "Go on"
As the rest bid their goodbye you move back to your spot grabbing Eddie's hand again and go to grab out the book but before you could do the you feel Eddie squeeze your hand.
"Eddie? Eddie, baby, can you hear me?" you ask him
Eddie squeezes your hand again
"Oh! I love you, Eddie. And i'm going to stay here till you wake up"
Another squeeze.
"Do you want me to keep reading you Lord of the rings?" you ask him
Another squeeze making you kiss his hand and you pull out the book.
