Mikhaela's Point of View
Just when I thought I could reunite with my best friend peacefully, my lovely boyfriend decides to ruin it.
I roll my eyes before pulling away from the hug.
I plaster a big ol' smile and face Ryder.
"Hi, babe. How was your summer? I missed you." I greet with fake enthusiasm. The urge to roll my eyes yet again was becoming uncontrollable by the second, it took every single fiber of my body to stop myself from doing so.
My brother jogs up to us the minute I finished talking, he has an apologetic smile etched on his face.
I'm sorry. I did the best I could. He mouths to me, stopping right behind Ryder who still has the look of annoyance on his pretty face.
"You missed me? Sure doesn't seem like it, Mik," He huffs, crossing his arms and sending daggers at Tommy.
If I wasn't mad right now, I would've thought it was quite adorable of him to be jealous.
"Alright, R. I was just giving Mickey here a friendly hug. Nothing to worry about," Tommy pipes up. A glint of humour prominent in his brown orbs.
"He's right, babe. It was just a harmless hug . And shouldn't you be at school right now?" He visibly relaxes his stance. He runs a hand through his dark brown hair, his gaze fixating on the ground as if it was the most interesting thing to ever exist.
"I just wanted to see you before I go," He mutters. I bit my lip, trying my best to conceal the huge smile that's making its way up my face.
If you haven't guessed it yet, Ryder and I are from different schools. I think it's better this way since he always looks at Tommy like he's going to rip his head off any second. I don't quite fancy my best friend and boyfriend arguing at all. Well, Tommy doesn't do anything but ignore Ryder's attempts of provoking him - one of the reasons why I love him - so its good to say Ryder mostly starts the arguments but weirdly enough, I find it endearing. It kinda shows that he really loves me - even if we haven't even said the phrase yet - and is scared of losing me.
Then, Michael coughs.
Ryder jumps up in surprise, clearly not aware Michael was standing behind him. Tommy hides his laughter with a cough. I doing the same.
"I think that's enough for today," Michael says sternly. Ryder rolls his eyes, his whole mood changing in that second, before leaving the area. No 'i love you' or 'i'll see you later' at all, he just left.
"Just text or call her next time, dumbfück," Michael shouts loud enough for him to hear, then muttering the last part.
That's when I lose it.
I laugh very loudly. It's really weird for me to laugh at this time but I can't help it. The hatred my brother has for Ryder is seriously humourous and amusing.
I stop laughing seconds later and was greeted by amused looks from Tommy and Mikey.
"Umm... Let's get inside, before Mik here loses her sh!t," Mikey utters not bothering to hide the smile on his face. Tommy shakes his head at me but agrees with my brother.
Once we reach the hallways, Michael bid us goodbye and left.
"The downside of being a senior." He always said.
Tommy and I make our way towards my locker, right after he left. Unlocking the poor excuse of a lock then getting my Maths textbook.
Tommy grabs my things from my grasp and carries them himself. He does this on a daily basis but it always seems to surprise me when he does. Maybe he's just born with it, or maybe it's because his British. But whatever his reason is, I like it.
I just wish my boyfriend would be like this more often.
Wait. What? Why did I just compare the two guys?
My thoughts were cut short when Tommy spoke,
"What's up in that pretty little head of yours, hm? You've been silent for a bit of a long time now. Is there a problem?"
Another reason why he's the greatest human being ever.
He's a total sweetheart. It shocks me that he hasn't found himself a girlfriend yet.
"Ignoring questions now, aye?" He nudges me teasingly. I roll my eyes and punch him on his arm.
He winces as if it really hurts causing me to giggle. He stops wincing then slings an arm over my shoulders, and pulls me to his side.
"So glad your back, Mickey. Thought I lost you for a minute there." He smirks, pulling me even closer.
For the next five minutes or so, we laughed and joke around until we reached my first class. Maths.
He hands me my things and gives me a peck on the forehead. I returned the favor by hugging him, which he gladly accepts. He promises me that he'll meet me after class then heads off to his first class. Which is History.
I spin on my heel and looked for a seat. Moments later I found one. It was a window seat and it was beside a familiar blond. I perk up when I recognized who it was.
I speed-walk towards the seats, sitting on the vacant chair. The blond puts down the book he was reading and acknowledges my presence. Once he knew who I was, he beams at me and ruffles my hair.
"Hey there, Sangster!" He greets, putting emphasis on the last word. I blush furiously when I realized most of the students attention was directed at us. I slapped him on the arm playfully.
"What the hell, Robert? You ship us too?" I whisper-yell.
"Course I do. And it's Luke not Robert."
He then adds,
"You guys are cute as fück. Dump Ryder and be with Tommy so everybody could be happy." My cheeks warms up at this. I was about to retort when the teacher enters the class.
I groan and gave him a glare.
Watch out at Lunch, Robert.
I mouth before focusing my attention to Mr. Sheffield.

And now we have baby Luke in the story :)
