Mikhaela's Point of View

The bell finally rang, signafying the end of the first day of school. Tommy was waiting for me outside the door as per usual. I give him a small wave, jogging towards him as did so.

He smiles back, as we make our way towards the exit.

"So, Calum told me we were getting pizza after school. Are you coming along?" He asks, just as we reach the door.

I push it open, opening my mouth to say something when,

"Babe!"

Ryder's here, I thought. I turn around to face him and gave him a wide grin. I turn back around to give Tommy an apologetic smile.

He sighs. "I guess it's a no, then. I'll see you tomorrow," he mutters softly, glancing back at Ryder, who I'm pretty sure is giving Tommy a million daggers right now.

Tommy boops my nose then leaves, not giving me the chance to boop back. I stand there confused, contemplating whether to cancel any plans Ryder had made or go with him. I mentally chose the latter then turn to face him.

I ran towards him, engulfing him in a hug.

"Hey, Mik. How's my baby girl?" He asks, chuckling slightly. I pull away, his arms still encircling my waist. I start to lean in to kiss him when I feel his hands going south. I pull away almost immediately, glaring at him and untangling his arms from my waist.

He huffs.

"How come you let the Thomas kid touch you and I, your boyfriend, don't?" He says, a hint of amusement and anger in his eyes.

I shot him an incredulous look before shifting into an unamused glare.

"Not him again. Why do you keep bringing up Tommy? What on earth has he done to you?"

"Oh, so now you're defending him? - You know what, forget it. Let's just grab a meal at that restaurant you like then I'll drop you home," he mutters.

I sigh, rubbing my temples. I breath out an okay then hopping on his motorbike.

He tosses me a helmet, buckling his own and starting up his baby.

We reach the place fifteen minutes later. He stops the bike, hopping off and not even waiting for me to unbuckle the helmet.

I mutter under my breath before following him inside. He sits on a table nearest to the window, texting away like there's no tomorrow. I roll my eyes, taking a seat across him. Picking up my phone and unlocking it.

Ugh. Weeeelp. Ryder's mad again -_-

I press send. And not a minute later, my phone vibrates. I smile slightly, finding it heartwarming that he's been waiting for my text since I left with Ryder
