Mikhaela's Point of View
It's been a full month since the Ryder incident happened. I haven't received a single call or text from him at all.
It's either his pissed as hell at me or my suspicions were correct. But whatever it is it hurts me deeply. Okay, maybe he's a bit of an arsehole - maybe not a bit but you get the point - but he's my very first boyfriend and I can't lose him over a petty argument.
I also believe that he'd change for me. Maybe not entirely but still change. And I'm hanging on to that little ounce of hope that maybe he changed his ways. That maybe he really likes me. And that maybe he's planning on apologizing to me right now.
Sigh.
Why do I like that d!ckhead?
"Hey, Mik? Classes are over. You sure you don't wanna leave?" Luke taps my shoulder.
Luke is the one who has the most classes with me. Tommy being second and Calum being third.
"Yeah yeah. I zoned out a bit there, didn't I?" I ask sheepishly. He bubbles out a laugh, nodding all the while.
"C'mon let's get outta here. Michael's waiting outside for us. Says we're going to grab ice cream before going home." He shrugs, pulling me up from the seat. I groan tiredly but allowed him to drag me across the halls.
He opens the door and pushes me forward. I lose my balance, tripping in to someone's arms.
"I'm so sorry!" I yell out, my voice getting muffled by his shirt. He chuckles, stroking my hair.
"S'alright, Mickey." I pull away from his hold to look at him. He pouts at my actions.
I giggled, resting my arms on his chest. He sighs and pushes a few pieces of hair, that fell on my face during the fall, behind my ear. A soft smile lingering on his face.
"Wha-"
"Ey! Lovebirds! Quit the PDA and get your DIL butts to the car!" Michael's voice catching the attention of all the people in the area. They give us knowing looks, some smirking and some making heart shapes.
I blush and pull away from Tommy who was as red faced and flustered as I am.
"I- ugh... We better go," I murmur. Tommy hums in agreement and follows me out the gates. His hand resting on my back along the way.
"What the hell was that? And what the hell is DIL?" I shot, once I was standing in front of Michael.
He rolls his eyes playfully.
"Drunk in love is what it means. Now c'mon because I'm screaming for ice cream." He ignores my first question. I puff my cheeks, shaking my head.
Tommy opens the door to the backseat for me. I thank him silently, slipping in beside Ashton. Tommy follows suit then slams the door tight.
Calum, who was sitting on the passenger seat beside Michael, pokes his head out and gives us a teasing look. Luke, who's sitting beside Ashton, snickers. I roll my eyes at the two dimwits. Not bothering to reply. I rest my head on Tommy's shoulder, his arm slinging around mine.
I hear a click, but chose to ignore it. I'll worry about it later, I thought.
We, Tommy and I, stayed in the positions we were in for the whole trip to the ice cream parlor.
We get out and made a beeline for the entrance. There wasn't a line, in fact the whole place was deserted.
