Riverbank

"You really thought I would be hanging around that long?", Sumire watches as Nozomi gets held on the back of her garment by Zaraki. "That woman told me to bring you back no matter what", Zaraki dragged her towards the gate. "It was fortunate that Captain Kurotsuchi found a way to fuse your body and soul back. He was competing with the time that Urahara-san might get the best of it", Renji turned to the blonde wearing a smile. "If you already figured it out earlier, why didn't you tell them?", Sumire knew that Urahara already prepared for the body but didn't dare mention anything. The man remained as mysterious as he had always been.

"It's gonna be boring without a playmate. Can you just extend her stay in Soul Society for just a week? ", Nozomi struggled to get out of Zaraki's grip. The spiky head carried her on his shoulder. "You're only saying that because you have someone to save your ass every time", Toshiro figured out that she was like his Vice Captain. "If you do your job well, you might as well be stationed in the human world", Renji tried to console her guessing that she will miss her human friend. "We'll have to erase her memory. There's no reason for her to remember anything about Soul Society", Byakuya joined the conversation. Nozomi's eyes widened and stop wriggling at Zaraki's shoulder.

"This will not be the last time", Rukia gave her farewell. Sumire who was nearby heard it and looked at the sky where the gate was open. "Don't worry. You'll soon be able to meet them. The average human life is 70 years", Urahara noticed her glance. "Even if she goofs around and acts foolish, it's not like she would reap my soul mistakenly. People die here and there. Of all the people, why did she delay my death?", Sumire didn't take her stare away from the sight of Nozomi's back. "Even a fish wouldn't get in trouble if it keep its mouth shut", the man lowered his hat and started to walk away.

Soul Society

A few days after the case of Ginjo, Ichigo visited soul society to request for the full bringer's body to be brought back to the human world and properly be buried.

Ichigo wasn't sure why a single Shinigami is brushing the stairs heading to Division 1. "Tsk. It's not like a grave sin to be reaping someone else's soul. This is torture. I should have slept for another century", Nozomi mumbled. "I bet it's that Baka-yakuya who suggested this punishment", she added and slapped the piece of clothing she is using to wipe the stairs to the nearby wall. "It's no use wasting your energy complaining. The Captain will not take back his words", Renji's sweat dropped seeing how pissed the lady was. "Then, why don't you help me?", Nozomi turn around and saw the orange head. "Oh, Strawberry boy? What are you doing here? Did you bring some playmate?", the white head peeked on the lad's shoulder and saw no one.

Vice Captain Abarai, your presence is being requested in Division 11.

"I need to go. How about you bring him to the Captain Commander's place?", Renji looked at Nozomi. "I'd rather di-", Nozomi saw Unohana and Isane walking towards the stairs. "Kurosaki-kun is a guest and he needed to be treated with respect. You shouldn't be rejecting a vice-captain's order. You should know that better", Unohana smiled. "Right away", Nozomi pushed the orange head.

"Captain, why is she under the care of the 4th and 11th division? She's no longer injured and it's not like she needed to be monitored by Captain Zaraki", Isane had been curious all this time. Aside from the fact that they didn't bother studying the ice that froze her, there are tons of mystery surrounding the white-haired lady. "She was once a part of the 4th Division. If not because of her, Captain Kenpachi wouldn't have his name", Unohana watched the lady's back.

"You're slow, strawberry boy. Did you really regain your powers?", Nozomi kept pushing the lad. "Yes. I heard all the captains gave their reiatsu on Rukia's sword. It's all thanks to them", Ichigo gave a wide smile. "Why are you here then?", Nozomi hummed. "Ginjou still deserves a better burial so he can cross here", the orange head explained. "Honestly, I thought you felt betrayed that you wanted him to end up in hell", the white head walked ahead leading Ichigo. "Whatever he did, Ginjou was still a savior of the souls he was able to purify", Ichigo had a weak smile.
