All the captains are present. "I didn't sign up for this", Nozomi pouted as she was dragged along by Kyoraku. "Are you still keeping ill feelings toward me, former vice-captain of Division 4?", Genryusai asked without having to look at the white head. "If I have something to complain about, how come you have thousands of shinigami and I am the only one who cleaned the stairs today?", the lady didn't hesitate to complain gaining some attention from those who never met her before. "That's not the way to talk to the Captain Commander", Soifon stepped forward. "Leave it be", Genryusai raised his hand. "Because of the incident with the full bringer, the captains had their hands full in the Human World. During that time, we didn't have enough manpower to catch a rat that escaped the prison", the old man looked at Nozomi. 'Don't look at me like that. I didn't plan to leave that paradise. If someone is to be blamed, it's that long-haired dude that happened to be my neighbor", the white head shrugged. "It's a good thing that Aizen wasn't able to escape as well", Komamura clenched his fist. 

"That rat that you are worried about courageously submits himself back", Nozomi sat on the floor. The captains drew their swords. "I am not here to cause some ruckus. Whatever happened 250 years ago, I place it behind my back. I apologize for coming uninvited but I am here to propose a solution to decreasing the number of hollows in the human world", Azashiro walked forward. Soifon blocked the way and felt a gust of wind giving her wounds. "Didn't I ask permission to speak?", Azashiro walked past the Captain. "Nozomi", Jushiro looked at the lady with her eyes closed sitting on the floor. "All Shinigami should learn healing techniques", the lady pouted as she walked towards Soifon and was brought to her knees. Unohana watched her heal Soifon intently and Nozomi can feel such pressure from behind. Azashiro gave his proposal for performing memory manipulation on humans that would prevent them to be aroused with anger and hatred which is a vital process of turning into a hollow once they die. "Psychosurgery", he gave the name. "Are you an idiot? Let's say we agree on that. Do you know how long it would take to alter the memories of billions of human beings", Hirako massaged his temple. "There is an Arrancar to which I know got the ability and I also stole one of the Shinigami's ability to absorb spirit particle. That will do the job", Azashiro explained. 

Nozomi stood after healing Soifon. "It seems that you have forgotten the reason you were sent to Muken. I don't mind leading you back there to remind you why", Nozomi face the other direction to which the entirety of Serietei could be seen. "With that, I rejoice for those who were integral to the development of this proposal. Should there be no initial shinigami to be experimented on, the experiment will not progress", Azashiro said with confidence. "You scum. Are you saying that we should rejoice?", Hirako noticed Nozomi's increasing reiatsu. Nozomi grabbed on Zaraki's sword since he was the nearest person and was about to thrust it at Azashiro but Byakuya grabbed it barehandedly. The sight of Byakuya's blood dripping on the floor calmed the white head and withdrew the sword. "Such insolence will not be tolerated in all generations", Genryusai stomped his staff indicating the capture of Azashiro who disappeared in thin air. 

"Give me back my sword", Zaraki grabbed it from Nozomi. "Byakuya, sor-", Nozomi raised her head and saw Byakuya healing his own wound. "Don't be reckless. Do not allow your emotion to get the better of you", the man said before catching up with the other captains who tried to search for Azashiro.

Karakura Town

Ryuken opened the curtains from his office. "Another enemy?", Sumire asked while pouring tea for the owner of the hospital. "Not that I am to involve myself. They should start working on their security", the white-haired man sighed. "If you need me to monitor Ishida-san, I will prepare right away", Sumire held a shinigami substitute badge. "There's no need to waste your time on that. Dealing with death gives no profit", Ryuken sipped through the tea. He was amused that a normal human being was given a pass to hold such a badge and that she can be taught to use spells. For some reason, her memories weren't erased, and was even asked a favor to help in keeping the town peaceful. Ishida explained Sumire's case to Ryuken to which he decided to make her a secretary for her part-time. It was also a safety measure that she will not jump into the bridge once more or take her own life.
