Alexander's POV
I am not having a good morning. That blissful phase I was in suddenly ended when I found out Helena's real intention of being around me. It felt like I fell out of the clouds and I landed on earth, hard! I'm angry with her. I am beyond angry! I'm shocked and it's not in a good way! We haven't spoken since and as much as it's keeping me up at night it seems not to bother her at all. The Queen of ice hasn't bothered to apologize for what She has done. She hasn't even made the slightest gesture towards reconciliation. Just a day or so ago she held a press conference and She looked fine. I'm mad but she's fine! How the hell is she wired? Am I expecting too much from a woman I have kissed a few times? Didn't it mean something to her when we were together? I know it wasn't anything with a label but doesn't she feel what I feel?

I focused on the fishing net. I have to finish repairing it. I'm ready to go out to sea and spend a good amount of the day there. However, I looked up and it turns out she has sent a messenger.

"What do you want Castle?"

He looked around before crouching down to my height. "Are you going fishing?"

This is how we met. I'm offended to think it was all a trap from the very start. He was scouting me out for her so that I can serve as a tool for her ambition. A disposable tool for that matter.

"I don't want to talk to you if you're here for her." Castle glanced over at a black Rolls Royce. It looks like something Helena would be chauffeured in. "She's in there, isn't she?"

"I sincerely apologize for her behavior. Helena is an intelligent woman but she lacks basic social skills. She doesn't play well with others. You're just one of many in her list of grudges."

"I am an only child as well but you don't see me making lists and using people as disposable tools. That isn't right. Go tell her that!"

I'm still upset about her behavior. I did leave the office that day and we haven't spoken since. Unless she's here to apologize I really don't want to hear anything Castle has to say.

"Why not come with me and you can tell her." He sounded exasperated. "Please."

I can empathisze with Castle. He must go through a lot to be around her all day everyday. "Castle my quarrel is not with you. It's with Helena. Tell her to come to me. I'll be on my boat."

Certain things have come up since that encounter with Helena. It's like the universe is officially conspiring against me. For starters, Rhea is moving into our family home to be close to me. She foolishly believes it will save us! We don't share anything! There's nothing to be saved! My father -the very man who allowed me to pursue Helena- permitted Rhea to move in with us. She feels threatened that Helena Bale would bid 1.3 million on me. My explanation that she's just charitable wasn't accepted. She thinks I'm cheating on her. With all honesty isn't someone accused of cheating if they are in a relationship with the accuser? I haven't consented to anything but Rhea has it in her head that we will marry. My father isn't being honest about where he stands. He wants Bale Industries but I also sense he will change his mind once it's in our hands and honor his arrangement with Rhea's father.

"She looks lost." One of the fishermen remarked. "People like her don't belong here."

Looking in that direction I saw Helena. She's dressed like she is going to a board meeting; pin stripe pants and a white button up shirt. The cold hearted beauty waved at me briefly beckoning me to go over to her. I beckoned her over instead. She pointed to the old wood underneath her feet. She is wearing the wrong shoes for a place like this.

I had to be a gentleman even if I'm mad. I got up to meet her.

"I hear you're looking for me." She smiled like everything is okay.
