  I looked at the picture once more. No freaking way. How? What? When? So many questions swarmed my head as I looked back up at him, who was now standing.

"I..Y/N..?" He asked, looking at me wearily. I just nod, so many emotions flooded me in so little time. Fear, Confusion, Sadness, Happiness, you name it. "When did you-" "I got here about two months ago.." I reply, cutting him off.

He looked down, his face changing emotions quickly. It finally settled on—I assume—happiness, due to the big grin on his face. He looks back up at me, "I missed you." That was all he could manage out. I sigh and grin back at him. I walk up and give him a fat hug. "I missed you too." I mumble out before being crushed in a bone-breaking hug. I swear i felt my back pop.

I let go, "Holy crap, did you get stronger? I think you broke my back" He chuckled lightly, "I kind of had too.." He said, gesturing to everything around us. I made an "oh" sound before he cleared his throat, putting on his 'Red Leader' face back on.

He sat back down at his desk and I took a seat in front of him. He flipped open my folder with all my information on it. "Soldier L/N," back with the formalities I see, "I'm quite impressed by your ability to climb ranks in such low time. I want to reward you by giving you the rank "Second Lieutenant", by this I mean your rank is right under Pat and Pau's. You will still receive daily training but you must also help Pat and Pau command large groups and direct them. Think of it as my generals but also not." I sit there in shock, I'm pretty sure my jaw is practically hitting the floor. "Me? Really?" He'd just nod with a slight grin on his face, "It is a big responsibility but I believe you have the potential." "Wow.." I manage to breath out.
"Now, I know it may seem like a lot so-" "I'll do it." I say, cutting him off again. "Oh? Wow that was quick. Okay," he'd say digging through his drawers. He'd pull out a few papers that were stapled together and slide them in front of me. "Read through those and sign the lines." He'd say, propping up his feet on the desk. He'd pull out a probably NSFW magazine as a skimmed the text, signing where I need too.

I sigh as I sign off my name one last time. "I'm done." I say, sliding the papers towards him. "Oh good!" He'd set down the magazine and skim the papers before throwing it into my files. "Your work starts tomorrow, you have the rest of the day off. You may leave." He said, shooing me off as he picked the magazine back up. So much for a reunion.

I leave the office and take a deep breath. Well that was something. I walk down the corridor to the elevator. I press the button and wait in silence. Jeez, they really gotta put like music or some shit in here its so quiet. The elevator comes to an abrupt stop and the doors open. I slide out and walk down to my room, fumbling around for my key I hear footsteps approach me. I look up to see Pat. "How'd it go?" He'd ask me, standing next to me. I'd find my key and put it in the keyhole, "It went well, he promoted me." I'd step inside, Pat following me, "Oh really? What'd he promote you to?" He'd ask, sitting on my bed.  "Second Lieutenant." I'd say casually, throwing off my overcoat and rolling up my sleeves. "Oh coo- SECOND LIEUTENANT??" "Yeeaahh?" I look over at him. "How do you say that so casually?! Do you know how high that rank is???" "Obviously not as high as yours" "yeah but still!!" I sigh, "Its not THAT high, besides I worked for this!" "You're right, Im proud of you!" "Thank you!" I'd grin.

Second Lieutenant Huh?
