Quickly giving the trailer a tidy, cleaning dishes and putting a wash on so it was one less thing for Wayne to worry about, walking to my metal heads room that was untouched, his ash tray full of cigarette butts, the bed unmade. Metal magazines all over the floor along with sheets of paper that he had written placing them on his desk, taking a few of his music sheets placing them in a ruck stack of his favourite cassettes and a few clothes for when he wakes ups, having a look round finding the Hobbit book and his stereo. Grabbing his acoustic guitar on my way out, Steve waiting on the porch taking some of the items off me putting them in the boot safely.

The car ride was silent, my mind was scrambled I couldn't think right.

"I recognised one of the voices Steve" staring out into the distances

"Hm?" Turning his head slightly "sorry" he mumbles like he was in a trance, his eyes were tired

"The voice of one of them sounded familiar."

"Who do you think it would of been?" His brows knit together as he mind starts thinking even more

"I'm not sure they were all in costumes and masks" letting out a heavy sigh, tension building up behind my eyes, placing his hand on my leg giving it a quick squeeze before placing his two hands firmly on the wheel

"We'll get to the bottom of this I promise, whoever it was isn't getting away with this." Giving him a side eye

"And how are we suppose to do that? We're all basically just kids Steve" leaning my head back on the rest of the seat

"Don't worry, we've got this" watching the boy smirk through the interior mirror "they will not get away with it"

Finally arriving at the hospital, making our way back to Eddies room, Wayne with his head in his hands sitting next to the bed, placing my hand on his shoulder softly speaking "hey we've got this, you go home get freshen up, I've put a wash on so there's some clean clothes on the sofa ready. Try get some sleep, I'll stay" taking his head out of his palms

"Thank you, it means a lot" he looked worn out, not being able to sleep worried ridden.
Plugging in the stereo, putting on Iron Maiden's Live after Death album. Setting his guitar in the corner up by the side of his bed.

Taking a seat next to him putting my hand into his giving it a squeeze, taking the hobbit out and opening to the last page that he had read to me after having a bad dream, closing my eyes tight taking a deep breath to calm my anxious thoughts
"He was just about to step out on to the floor when he caught a sudden thin and piercing ray of red from under the drooping lid. of Smaug's left eye. He was only pretending to sleep! He was watching the tunnel entrance! Hurriedly Bilbo stepped back and blessed the luck of his ring. Then Smaug spoke.
"Well, thief! I smell you and I feel your air. I hear your breath. Come along! Help yourself again, there is plenty and to spare!" Clearing my throat, lowering my voice like Eddie would do so when he read to me

"But Bilbo was not quite so unlearned in dragon-lore as all that, and if Smaug hoped to get him to come nearer so easily he was disappointed.
"No thank you, O Smaug the. Tremendous!" he replied." Taking a stance, balancing the book in one hand, taking a bow as I acted out the scene as if I imagine my metal head would of been watching feeling rather silly. "I did not come for presents. I only wished to have a look at you and see if you were truly as great as tales say. I did not believe them." My voice traced disbelief, a smile creeped onto my face, throwing my arm in the air over dramatically, the night went one as I did my performance as in hope he could hear me.

Eddie's Pov:

Waking up in a strange room, the room was dark, propping myself up, looking down I was in a hospital gown "this isn't right" I mumbled looking around there strange Vines twisting and turning all on the floor, wrapped around machines.
Hearing a voice, a soft, kind voice lingering in the air "Do you now?" The voice roared before softening again.

"said the dragon somewhat flattered, even though he did not believe a word of it." She laughs a tear slips down my cheek as I felt unsettled "Y/n?" I shout, I could hear her but I couldn't see her

"Sweetheart?" My voice cracks trying to get her attention but it was like she couldn't hear me, walking around the room banging on walls trying to make as much noise as I could.

"Truly songs and tales fall utterly short of the reality, O Smaug the Chiefest and Greatest of Calamities," replied Bilbo." Her voice jumped to the other side of the room as I rushed to the door to follow pushing it open leading me to a dim empty hallway. Feeling alone and lost.

Dark vines tracing the floors, the pit of my stomach turned, her voice it was gone. It was silent out here deadly silent. The only sound was my foot steps and my heavy breathing venturing out to the unknown, getting closer and closer to the exit. Trying to tip toe as quiet as I could, not knowing if anyone or anything could be about.

"Here goes nothing" pushing open the heavy doors leading me outside of what looked like the hospital, it was dark, particles were floating in the air. My chest became heavy at the site that I was seeing, it was Hawkins but it wasn't the one I knew, everything was in ruins, the sky lit up red, like a fire of lightening were dancing, dropping to my knees. I couldn't breath, panic washed over me as I screamed "Y/n".

Y/n's Pov:

"Y/n" hearing my name faintly, my eyes snapped up in shock, dropping the book on the floor. was I hearing things rushing over to his bed

"Eddie?" Tracing over his gaunt looking face, taking hold of his arm, in hope but nothing. Letting my body drop down to the floor as I just stared at the ceiling, holding onto his chain around my neck tightly.

"You can pull through this sweetheart" I mumbled coping his pet name that he had given to me.
