"this is better than whatever the hell wooyoung always has to cook!" yeosang cheered, smiling to the chef while wooyoung gave him a side-eye.

"do you piss your pants every time i ask you to try something? you're always saying no or just pretending to even eat my food!" wooyoung whined.

"not my fault your food tastes like abnormal shit." yeosang bit back, stuffing his mouth full.

"anyone got plans?" san asked.

"i'll be producing, so yeah." hongjoongs groggy voice said, "maybe also sleep, it's been 6 hours."

"i'll uh, practice singing with jongho! right?" seonghwa nudged the younger next to him. "oh, yeah."

"i'll be slacking off, maybe play a bit of LoL since i have work today. dipshit." yunho taunted. "let's stop going to every corner of town just because you want to! go with your beloved friend till death or by yourself!"

"hey hey," wooyoung pointed a finger at yunho, don't drag me into his bullshit, because i'm tired and want to play league of legends too. you jungle?"

"fine, you're going to jungle in the round after, i'm usually tank you bastard." yunho replied. "seonghwa, support?"

"i was going to do apc," he complained.

"let me play then and i'll be support," ellie chimed in, looking at them. "i know how to play video games too, morons. who's gonna adc?"

"i'll do it," hongjoong slicked his hair back, "i can take a break from producing this one time i guess."

"woah shit, sorry gamers but yeosang, jongho, mingi and i exist too y'know?" san interrupted. "so, no hanging out today? and hey! seonghwa you said you'd be practicing with jongho!"

"you can hang out in the dorm, but we're 100% not going outside to spend your parents money. let us game." ellie glared.

"this is a one in a million chance, especially with ellie," wooyoung bit his lip, "because she's always so focused on studying. like a good student."

"it feels like you're taunting me," she stabbed another pancake with her fork, looking at wooyoung. "and no, my grades don't make up my life."

"then have fun! considering that you're in the age where everyone goes to drink-"

"hard pass, no thank you." the girl sat feeling small in her seat.

"let her do what she wants, it's all up to her, isn't it?" yunho intervened, "sorry that i kinda got myself into this, but it's really all her decision."

"i'm just suggesting what she could do or not. 19, turning 20, is the ideal age to have fun and enjoy your life!" her roommate cheered.

"do you ever have a civilized conversation where he isn't constantly talking like he knows what's good or not?" jongho asked, turning his head to face the girl next to him.

"nope, he's always trying to get me to step foot into a bar or a club. i don't do that shit for fucks sake!" she complained, "he wants me in a relationship so bad, but i'm really not in for this shit. relationships lead you nowhere and i could do just fine being independent!"

yunho scrunched up his nose, that not falling unnoticed to wooyoung.

"i don't need some hot rich sugar daddy to keep me fed with money to bathe in. i could do that myself." she muttered.

"no, wait," wooyoung halted her, "yunho what was that just now?"

"what?" yunho asked, perking his head up.

"what the fuck did you just do with your face when ellie talked about not wanting a relationship?" he wiggled his eyebrows.

"i scrunched my nose i guess? it's itching, what the fuck are you thinking?" yunho cocked his eyebrow.

"odd."

"says you," he scoffed, finishing his plate.

"was it.. good? edible?" ellie asked.

"tiny," yunho chuckled, "if it wasn't, i wouldn't have finished the whole plate."

"i'm going to puke at this disgusting couple shit," yeosang jolted, his plate being finished as well.

"date, date, date, da-"

san shoved a pancake into wooyoungs mouth, patting his head. "if you guys don't wanna hang out outside, we can go to mine and yunhos dorm? it's just a few minutes away from this complex."

"don't feel like walking unless it's in our dorm," ellie replied, collecting all finished plates. "you can all leave."

"no help or anything?" hongjoong frowned, "this is your dorm but i might feel bad.."

"don't worry, joong. do your own thing and sleep, you need it. go on." she reassured.

and so they did, while she still took care of the plates.

yunho grabbed her wrist swiftly, "i'll do this, don't trouble yourself."

"yunho," she called, "go rest in wooyoungs room or on the couch. you have night shift, remember?"

"so? doesn't mean i can't help," he looked at her wrist, seeing how his whole hand enclosed it, slightly overlapping with his thumb. "i'll be fine."

"rest and close your eyes. you'll be at work until dawn, won't you? it's better for you to get some rest, we don't want you slacking off at work." she replied.

"my job is just as a cashier at some convenience store nearby. i'll be okay." he shrugged, casually.

she sighed. "we're getting you to bed," ellie wrapped her free arm around one of yunhos and tried pulling him up, making him give in and brought him to the couch.

"now, sleep. have a good rest." she sassed and walked away.

"she's special, huh?" seonghwa smirked, leaning against the couch as he sat on the floor.

"yeah.." yunho said, stuck in a little reverie before he heard seonghwa laugh his face off.

"you like her, it's official, you fucking like her don't you? right? am i right?" seonghwa teased.

"oh fuck off," he snarled, laying on the couch and about to slack off.

"you're not saying no." the elder smirked. "how about getting her into pottery too? y'know, act out those nice little romantic scenes where you sit on a stool behind ellie and work with her by her pottery wheel."

"you're such a pain, seonghwa," yunho groaned, slapping a hand over his eyes and dragging it down his face.

"just advice, you'll need it." he winked.

"fuck you and your shenanigans, hwa."
