"hongjoong went back to his studio," seonghwa sighed, "he'll be keeping himself up all night again, told that fucker to sleep."

"is it something he enjoys doing?" ellie asked.

"50/50," the elder replied, "he works as a producer. he's been working as one since his high school days, which also explains why he's never seen in school at all. he's been busy making money for himself and his family."

"poor guy," she frowned, "does he at least eat well in the studio?"

"i highly doubt it, he's always in there and only gets out when he's quick to grab a water or go to the toilet." seonghwa pursed his lips, "we've all been so busy ourselves and unable to bring him food besides ourselves. but he's the one who refuses to eat the most."

"hm, okay," ellie nodded, "i'll think of something. you can't just let him live off of water, can you? it'll destroy his body."

"we try to feed him, he just shrugs it off and says he'll be fine and that he'd already eaten. we all know he's not telling the truth." the older one worried.

"i'll go visit him later on, maybe check in a little on what he'd produced so far." she smiled. "bring him some food, he'll eventually die in the studio if he keeps this up."

~ ellie stood in the kitchen when the clock hit 1pm. the stove was on, making food for the others and hongjoong who sat in the studio.

after she'd finished, she put some of it in a plastic container, as well as rice and other side dishes she figured he might've liked.

she looked at yunho who slept soundly on the couch, seonghwa who was busy on his phone, yeosang who listened to music and san and mingi who bickered until the end of the world before bidding goodbye.

soon, she finally got out of her complex and stepped outside, being met with a slightly cooler breeze than usual on a summer day.

the sun was barely visible and the wind was cold, thankfully she was packed with a hoodie, sweatpants and coat to keep her warm.

hongjoong had sent her the location, making her take a subway on the way there.

when she arrived, the building met higher than her expectations. it looked modern, very well-built and overall very pretty.

she got inside, feeling relieved as the warmer atmosphere hugged her.

ellie soon found hongjoongs studio, seeing him working on a track. softly, she knocked and entered his studio.

"hi, joong," she smiled at him, "decided to pay a visit, hence me asking for your location."

"you're welcome here," he replied, "is.. this for me?" hongjoong asked, pointing at the plastic containers she gently placed on his desk.

"mhm," she hummed in response, "seonghwa told me a lot about your 'self care' here. you can't go on hours without food, hongjoong. that'll make you sick."

"thanks, but i've alr-"

"find a different and more believable excuse next time, joong. now eat." she placed a pair of chopsticks in his hands and sat down on the chair next to his.
