Ed and Lorraine Warren's mission in life was to help people that were plagued by demons. And during one of their so called "missions" they met Dalton Ford, who ended up being their closest friend. Dalton was plagued and possessed when the Warrens found him, and if it weren't for them he would be dead.
Over time, the Warrens realized that Dalton had the same gift Lorraine had. He was only 21 but became more and more helpful as he matured into his gift. But the demons they tried to get under control seemed to pick on and bother him more than anyone else. The reason...Dalton's history with demons and his own possession attracted them. They thought he would be easier to possess, and that made it even more dangerous for Dalton.
So when the Warrens and Dalton find themselves facing the malevolent case that was the Perrons, things get even more solemn and dangerous.
