Being a reader means answering questions like
"what is your favorite book"
"What is your favorite character"
"How many books do you have"
The answers are all "I have an infinite list", because I cannot answer with just one item
My favorite books are many of which you can see Pride and Prejudice and Alice's adventures in Wonderland being some of the top ones
I love the beautiful and complicated monster created by the one and only Mary Shelley
I love to be a Bella in the Twilight world
I love the magical worlds created by Cassandra Clare and J.K. Rowling
I love to fight in the dystopian worlds you read in The Hunger Games and The Darkest Minds
Some of my favorite characters may be summarize in the charming Will Herondale and the proud Mr. Darcy
I love how Finch gave up his own happiness to make Violet live her life to the fullest
I love how Peter Parker always does the right thing
I love the beauty and kindness that Jenny Han portrays in her characters
I love the realness described in Lauren Kate's angels
I love to be the Alice who follows the White Rabbit as much as being the Dorothy following the Yellow Brick Road

All of this is what being a reader is to me
My lists are infinite because I can't take anything away from the beautiful and magical world that books have created in my head
My lists may not be the same as yours but those are the ones that made me who I am
The books keep changing me and creating a better world in my head in which I'd love to live in forever
