No hugging, No love
some problems seem solved
Once wrong,
Rock bottom doesn't seem too far
They never ask,
cover eyes and ears
that seems to work for them;
The problem isn't there
Just because they haven't dug deeper,
doesn't mean they don't know you
They just ignore to know you;
That's easier. They don't have to care
One day, they're done
leaving you with pieces to glue
you learn and start building your wall up
Now it's a fortress
no one can pass and you've grown used to your solitude
They ask "Why are you so cold?",
but they don't care about giving you any warmth.
"Why are you like this?",
but the past has given you an armor,
you're far too strong to let yourself be bother by their false concerns
You had come to hate yourself,
but time showed you to love even the parts they told you they weren't fit to love
You know they really care about you when they stick around no matter what
No money involved, no price to pay
They're just there because they know the soft under the tough you hide
They love you
No hugging, ISN'T No Love
The little actions are the ones that show
the real affection and appreciation they have for you
Sometimes it is okay to let your softness out for them
You don't always have to be so tough

Ideas Left To Burn
PoetryThis is a collection of some poems I have written between the age 17-20. Poems of thoughts that run through my mind. Most of them don't even make sense but I had fun getting them out of my head. Some feelings need words to make some sense.
