Over the course of the month, (Y/N) soon was able to walk on their leg again. She made a full recovery, with a sick scar to match.

She stretches her wings wide, throwing herself off the roof of the building.

"Teehoo!!" She yells at the top of her lungs. Toby cheers her on from the rooftop as she preforms advanced aerial tricks.

I heavily pant, hunched over on the rooftop. Slender stands over me, his tentacles writhing behind him.

"How do you ever expect to beat him if you can't hold your own against me?" Slender grovels, clearly frustrated. I raise an eyebrow.

"I didn't know I was training so I could fight someone specific. Who is it?" I ask. Slender growls, abruptly turning his back to me.

"It doesn't matter, (Y/N). I'm just disappointed in you." Slender states, teleporting away. My shoulders drop.

He's disappointed in me...? What does that mean...? Why does my chest hurt? I feel so sad... What did I do wrong...?

I stare at the rooftop for what seems like forever. I stand up slowly, making my way to the living room. I sit next to Ben.

"What's wrong, (Y/N)?" He asks. I look over at him.

"Uhm... what does it mean when someone is.. d-disappointed in you?" I ask. He pauses his game and places his hands on my shoulders.

"Who said that?" He asks. I look down.

"S-someone..." I mumble. He scoffs, squeezing my shoulders. I yelp, looking up at him.

"Who, (Y/N)." He demands. I gulp.l, looking away.

"B-boss..." I quietly confess. I hear Ben grind his teeth together. He squeezes my shoulders tighter. I close my eyes tightly, whimpering.

"A disappointment is a failure. You've failed, (Y/N)." Boss explains, walking into the scene. Ben squeezes tighter.

"I d-didn't know it was a t-test! I'm s-sorry! P-please can I have another ch-chance..?" I beg. Ben pushes me off the couch, standing up. He stomps over to Slender, stepping on my hand in the process.

I cry out in agony, grabbing my mangled limb. I look up at the other two.

Ben's body begins to glitch as he stands in front of Slender. He stares down the taller man, anger seething through him.

"WHY WOULD YOU TELL HER THAT?!" Ben yells. His voice is so loud and glitchy that (Y/N)'s ears begin bleeding. She whimper, sitting up. She cradles her mangled hand close to her body.

The blood trickles down her head and she cries profusely. She holds her ears, no longer able to hear.

"It's the truth. She wouldn't stand a chance against him and his minions. She's too fragile and weak. She can barely kill humans." Slender explains to the furious Ben.

(Y/N) curls into a ball on the ground, rocking herself. She is thrown into a vat of memories, her past in the hospital haunting her soul. She cries heavy sobs into her knees, shrouded in silence.

"She just needs more training!" Ben yells. Slender scoffs.

"We are out of time, Ben! The war is in two days!" Slender yells back. Ben slumps back, scoffing. He crosses his arms. "Now, stop being an idiot. You are a fool for thinking she could be that strong."

Slender points at her curled up form.

"She can't even withstand yelling from you." Slender explains. He turns his back to Ben, teleporting away. Ben growls, turning to face (Y/N). He stomps over to her, crossing his arms.
