Yea.

Alright.

Everything's fine. . .

It's not like I've never been through this before. Being friends with Gahyeon will automatically test your ability to be left stranded fending for yourself.

Example A; grocery shopping and wanting an opinion on either oat milk lattes or almond milk cappuccinos for breakfast, only to find Gahyeon nowhere near me but in an entirely different aisle, deep in conversation with a stranger as they explain why Jhene Aiko 'is a legend and she is THE moment'.

So this is fine. Really.

A lazy smile drew over my lips, "Can I be honest?"

The girl leaned a lil closer, chin now on top of her hand. "By all means..."

I didn't wanna come off rude, but I was curious. Long Island Iced Tea's aren't the norm around here. So when someone does order one, they're either from outta town, or genuinely enjoy the rancid burn gorging down their throats as some sort of 'fuck you' challenge to the world.

"Why a long island of all things, if you don't mind me asking?", the back of my neck prickled. It's uncommon to ask a customer that question.

Definitely not in the job description either.

Tilting her head, the bunny girl shrugged, her smile indicating she found my question unexpected.

"Good question... i've heard nothing but terrible things about long islands. How it's too bitter, got an awful aftertaste, and occasionally like running your tongue down a pair of dirty sweat balls", she laughed with all her teeth. "Yet I still wanna try it"

w-well that's one way to describe a drink... albeit a bit dramatic...

"Not to pop your bubble, but... they may be onto something", I said with a grin, fingers reaching inside my apron pocket for the jigger. "However... I'd be more than happy to prove 'em wrong"

As I bent down to grab a clean glass, 4 bottles of liquor and a coca-cola can were then placed in front of me on the countertop.

"Are you just now starting her drink. .  . ?", Seulgi shook her head while cracking open the soda can. "Where did I go wrong in raising you, huh?"

My eye twitched a little at that. "Patience is a virtue. Try it sometime, Seul"

Our bickering probably makes other people uncomfortable, but this is the only way we know how to show our love and respect for one another. A day without bickering is like a day with no air, said Jordin Sparks.

"I'm not trying shit, so you best hurry up and finish that pretty lady's drink"

I bit back a laugh and did as told, opening one bottle at a time.

Gin. Vodka. Tequila. Rum.

An interesting mix and likely why our customers cannot handle Long Island's to begin with, it just got way too much going on in that one little glass if you ask me.
