The morning she woke up, Jay had already been awake for around an hour. Ashley's brother Connor had dropped off some larger clothes for her to wear, which she usually didn't wear because of her style. But she had to.
Jay walked into the bedroom just in time for her to wake up. He walked over and smiled, helping her to sit up. "Morning. Your brother dropped off some clothes for you. Now come on. Let's get you changed." Jay smiled.
He helped her get changed and her sling back on before brushing her hair for her.

After doing her hair, they ate breakfast together before getting into Jay's car and going straight to work.
Jay grabbed out his and her bag before walking with her inside. Trudy just smiled before they walked upstairs. Jay scanning his hand before holding the door for her.
They walked into the office and they instantly noticed only Adam and Antonio were at their desks.
"Already aloud back to work?" Antonio asked, walking over. "Yeah, nothing too concerning. Gotta live with Jay a bit, but that's all." She explained. "Well your on desk duty I assume. Seeing as your in a sling." Antonio smiled. "Yeah my brother and Jay's brother would kill me if I said I wanted to go and catch criminals." She laughed slightly before sitting down at her desk. "Shes aloud to do desk work for around 6 weeks. Then she's aloud to do normal stuff. She has to rest for a bit." Jay explained.
Voight walked out of his office a minute later. "Oh, Ashley, how're you doing?" He asked as he walked over. "Good sir. I've sent the email for all of the thing's I'm having to do." She explained. "I'll take a look. But for now, desk duty and phone duty." He told her. "Right. Thank you." She smiled.
As said, around 4 weeks later, she finally got her sling off. Being granted the permission by Jay's brother.
The next two weeks however she was still stuck on desk duty. She was aloud back in her appartment as long as she rested. So after those two weeks she was done.
