The sunrise wasn't a familiar sight anymore. Neither was the sunset, which held a sense of irony to it. When the night fell, the Star Guardians would protect the world. At least, that was how it was supposed to go.

You were suddenly 5 again, playing in the garden by your home. Back when you could go there. As a Dark Star Knight, or even a Star Guardian, the First Star makes it so that no one would remember certain things.

However, the First Star did have a particular interest in orphans or those who had no place to go. Lost souls who needed it's guidance.

You dug up the dirt and buried your action figures to stage a rescue. You picked up your brave hero, the Knight, and began to make him fight against the hideous monster.

You laughed before you heard the sound of a truck pulling into the driveway next to yours. You looked up to see a moving van parking before a married couple stepped out. The husband looked at the house while the wife opened the back door and let a child out. A girl your age.

She looked around the street for a moment before looking right at you.

This was the first time you had encountered Sarah Fortune.

You opened your eyes to your dimly lit room. You looked sound for a moment as you laid there. The only clear light was the blue light coming from a star nightlight that Ahri had given you as a joke gift about 8 years ago.

You sat up and ran a hand through your hair before looking out your window. It was now nighttime, telling you that most people would be asleep now.

You let out a sigh before getting out of bed.

You walked down the street with your hands in your pockets. The night was chilly, but warmer than usual. It was summer now, after all. Still, you wore a black jacket. You couldn't walk around during the day unless Sarah dragged your out of bed, but night time you were able to flourish.

It was actually the First Star that made it possible. Star Guardians didn't need to sleep. They would get tired after battles and of course they could sleep, but their bodies didn't need it. The same with eating and water. Everyone did still eat because, why wouldn't they? They were still human. For the most part.

Still, you found yourself often considering never sleeping. Sleep brings dreams. You hated the nightmares, but you didn't think you deserved the good ones. It was a stalemate at best. A hobby to pass the time mostly.

You didn't even really know where you were walking to. You just needed some air and you felt the need to buy something to drink. Maybe a soda or something. Or maybe you could try to find something stronger. Being 17 forever had it's downsides. Mostly the fact that you could never drink.

Maybe it was the First Star's way of keeping you from being unhealthy. A drunken fool couldn't win a battle against the darkness. Especially not someone like you.

You suddenly came to a stop, however, when you heard something odd. A scuffle of somekind. Following the sounds, you found yourself at the opening of an alleyway where you spotted a small group, maybe 3 or 4, of students struggling with something.

Looking closer, you realized they were trying to grab a girl. No, two girls. They were attacking them.

You didn't make a move. You stood there and watched with wide eyes. What were you supposed to do? You weren't a hero. You were barely even a Star Guardian anymore. This didn't involve you.

But you couldn't move to leave either. Something kept you there. A sense of duty. Of responsibility to these strangers. You couldn't just turn and run away.

No.

You couldn't.

Not again.

You clenched your fists.

The leader of the group smiled as he tried to grab the taller girl, only to find his wrist being grabbed. He looked to his left, just as a powerful punch connected with his nose, sending him flying into the side of a nearby dumpster.

The entire situation came to a standstill when everyone turned their eyes onto you. Your's, however, didn't look right. Your pupils were strange. A dark purple glow waved around like liquid while your heart rate began to speed up.

Bum bum.

One of the boys swung at you, but you grabbed his arm and turned your body, sending him over your shoulder and onto the ground. You then placed your foot on his shoulder and pulled, dislocating his arm from the socket.

While he screamed, the taller girl grabbed her friend's wrist.

???: Come on, Kali!

The shorter girl wanted to stay and fight, but her friend pulled her away. Knowing it would be bad to leave her alone, she followed while you fight the other boys.

Bum Bum Bum

One of the boys lunged at you, but you caught him and slammed him against the wall. You then punched his chest which dropped him. He gasped for air as he rolled around, but you were already onto the next attacker.

BumBumBumBumBum

You caught his leg and slammed him against the wall. He fell onto the ground, but you got ontop of him and began to punch down. Each blow connected to his face, causing more blood to spill into the alley.

BumBumBumBumBumBumBumBum

Rakan: I know you and me can butt heads sometimes, but I appreciate your help out there. Thank you for saving Xayah.

BumBumBumBumBumBumBumBum

Xayah: One of these days you have to show me that movie you always talk about. Seems like a good one.

BumBumBumBumBumBumBumBum

Nekko: Let's bake a pie! It's been so long since we baked something together. Oh! Let's do Apple pies!

BumBumBumBumBumBumBumBum

Y/N: AHHHHHH!

You punched the boy one more time and looked at the attacker. He was alive, but the blood mostly covered his face. His breathing was shallow.

You looked at your hands and began to shake as you slowly stood up. You stumbled backwards before you leaned against a wall.

BumBumBumBumBumBumBumBum

You gasped as you slid down the wall while grabbing your heart. The First Star's power was racing through your veins again. Like boiling blood that was trying to escape your skin.

You hadn't used it in so long. It now felt like posion.

As the boys grabbed each other to escape any further wrath, you fell over, grasping your chest. You groaned as your vision started to get blurry. You found it hard to breathe now. You couldn't think straight.

The world was getting dark. And before it all went black, you saw someone rushing towards you.

Then nothing.
