Sage's pov: People stopped and stared as we pulled into the parking lot.We got out the car and start making our way inside.As I'm walking, I hear whispers."She's the girl who beat up those boys"."Look she's hanging out with Vance and Robin".I just ignored them and kept walking."This is me and Gwen's stop, bye guys" I say as I wave goodbye to them while me and Gwen walk into class.
Everybody stops talking and stares at us.Me and Gwen look at each other, wondering why they're staring at us.We make our way to our seats and sit down.I put my head down, feeling tired.I feel sleep take over me.
I suddenly feel somebody aggressively shaking me.I jolt up in panic."What?What?" I say in a panicked voice.I start to hear laughter.I look to see the boys laughing at me."C'mon, it's time for lunch" Gwen says.I get up and walk out of class."C'mon, don't be mad" I hear robin says.I just silently glare at him."It's not our fault you fell asleep" I hear Vance say."C'mon guys stop making her upset, it's not her fault she's a sleepyhead" Bruce says in a teasing tone."Ha ha, very funny" I say in a sarcastic tone as I lightly but not so lightly punch Bruce in the gut.
"Ouch, the gotta hurt" Finney says."You deserve it" Gwen says.I watch as Bruce hold his stomach in pain.I tell gwen I'm not going to eat in the cafeteria."Where do you go to eat then?" Gwen asks."I'll show you, just let me order my food first" I say.I order some food since I think they won't eat the school's lunch.We wait for my food to arrive.Once it did we made our way towards the secret hideout."Here it is.I found it when I was wandering around school yesterday" I say.

I watch as Gwen looks around the room in circles.After a few minutes of everybody admiring the hideout, I tell them they could admire it later and we have to eat.As we're eating, I see gwen steal one of Finney's nuggets when he wasn't looking."Hey, who stole my nugget?" Finney says clearly upset.I watch as Gwen chew on the nugget while trying not to laugh.I see Finney turn to gwen and if she took it.Gwen shakes her head no.Me and Robin make eye contact, I could tell he was also struggling not to laugh.Seeing him struggle made it harder for me not to laugh."Open your mouth" Finney says.Gwen shakes her head still chewing.
That's when Finney jumps on her demanding her to open her mouth.I fall on the floor rolling while laughing.Robin and Bruce couldn't hold it anymore and started laughing too.I swear I also heard Vance chuckle.After a few minutes of laughing, I offer finn one of my nuggets so he leaves Gwen alone.I watch as he takes it and glares at gwen while Gwen sticks her tongue at him in return.
I finish my food but I'm still hungry so I look around to see if there's any food left.I see Vance still has his nuggets.I quickly grab one and shove it in my mouth."Did you just eat one of my nuggets" Vance says looking at me.I quickly shake my head no while chewing.I quickly run around the room when I see him get up.I his behind robin begging me to save him."Come here bitch" Vance says trying to get me through robin.I hear the bell ring.Once I hear it, I zoomed out the hideout with Vance hot on my tail.I run through crowds.I quickly run into my classroom and take a seat.
I see Vance at the door about to enter but he was stopped by the teacher."You aren't in my class mister, leave now" the teacher says.I watch as Vance walks away while glaring at me.I give him a cheeky smile.Gwen walks in and takes a seat next to me."You know after school, he's going to get you right?".I froze in fear.
After school: I quickly run out the classroom.I sprint into the parking lot.I was glad Vance gave me the keys before going to class.I hear Vance yell "there you are".I turn to see him walking towards me angrily.I quickly open my car door and lock the door.I watch him bang on the window yelling at me to open it.The rest of the group was just just watching.I was looking at Vance with a blank face.All of a sudden, I hear the door click open.
My eyes widen in fear.I quickly try to run but Vance grabs me by the collar of my shirt and pushes me against the car."Aye bro, I'ma need you to let go.I didn't even do nothing for real" I say in a panicked voice."You are my nugget" Vance says."Nigga I bought you them nuggets, y'all better get this dude off me" I say looking over at the group.I watch as the boys get Vance off me.I look at Vance as he looks at me upset.
I get inside the driver's seat.I watch as the rest get into the car.I start the car and drive towards Finney's house.I hear Bruce laugh at the video he took when Vance was trying to get me.I drop them off at Finn's house."You're not staying?" Gwen asks."No, I'm going home" I say.I drive away while waving at the group.I pull into the driveway and go inside my house.I look at the diary I had when I was ten and put it on my dresser.I eat, take a shower, and then go to sleep.
