Prologue: The Lost of a Husband and The Start of a New Beginning

Merita was 21, and had gotten the news about the death of her husband, Alexander. She had locked herself up in her palace that was floral themed. Stella had came there to " talk some sense " to Merita. She walked in the palace and when she found Merita crying on the couch she scoffed at how messy Merita's hair was, that she was wearing a night gown that had tear stains on it, and that there was mascara stains on her face.

Stella: pull your fucking self together. ( She said sternly to Merita )

Merita jumped, just noticing Stella's presence. Merita looked at Stella with her sorrow filled eyes.

Merita: S-Stella-

Stella: Enough of this Merita, this is unfit behavior for a member of the Goetia family and you know it. What kind of example are you setting for your children?

Merita: I just don't know what to do Stella, if Alexander-

Stella: Alexander is gone Merita, that means you need to stop this nonsense and get your shit together! You and I both know that you look pathetic right now. ( She said with her arms crossed )

Merita: I just-

Stella: you just nothing, clean yourself up and start acting like a Goetia! ( She shouted at Merita sternly )

Then the sounds of Merita's one year old daughter and son were heard throughout the palace.

Stella: now, get yourself together and start acting like a Goetia if not for yourself, do it for your children. ( She said to Merita sternly )

Merita wiped her tears away and stood up, she quickly pulled a hair brush out of nowhere and brushed her hair to make it not a mess. Stella grabbed some tissues from the coffee table and wiped away the mascara stains off of Merita's face.

Merita: thank you Stella... Your right, I need to put myself together.... It's unfit for a Goetia to be like this...

Stella: I know I am, now go to your children.

Merita nodded before she walked out of the living room and walked to her children's shared bedroom. Merita quickly went to her crying children and picked them up in her arms. Merita cradled them in her arms and mummed a lullaby to them, Stella watched with a stern expression. Merita continued to comfort her children with a sad smile, as her daughter and son slowly fell back to sleep.

Stella: finally, now Merita you better stay fucking acting like a Goetia because you and I both don't want your children to grow up as pathetic disgraces if the Goetia name. Am I clear? ( She said to Merita sternly )

Merita: yes Stella ( she said with a sad smile )

Stella: good.

( Five years later )

Merita was in her Imp form and was walking to the office building of I.M.P, she saw that the imps and hellhound from the TV commercial were stuffing the parts of a human child in a bag. Merita calmly and happily walked up to the group with a innocent smile.

Merita: Hello are you guys from the I.M.P?

Blitzo: yes, I'm Blitzo the O is silent what do you want sweetheart?

Merita: I was hoping to get a job at I.M.P but I understand if you're not looking to hire anyone-

Blitzo: actually... How about this you help us drop this target back in the human world and the job is good as yours sweetheart.

Merita: okay! ( She said happily )

Moxie: wait Boss you can't just-

Blitzo: quiet Moxie, can't you see I'm talking to the new employee? ( He said with his arms crossed )

Merita then grabbed the kid's head and put it in the bag happily before Moxie and Millie closed it, then Blitzo hugged everyone while wrapping his tail around them Merita was slightly confused but she accepted the hug quickly.

Blitzo: You know, even though this kid was a target he's still a child, it's important we've handled this going forward respectfully.

Merita smiled at Blitzo's words even though she was just hired and she didn't fully understand what was going on.

( In the Human world )

The mother of the kid crying to the news with a badly drawn drawing of her child as they opened a portal to the human and Merita accidentally dropped the bag of the dead child which the mother caught causing the humans to look at where they were.

Merita: ops, sorry boss ( she whispered with a embarrassed blush )

Blitzo: your welcome ( he said to the humans with a smile and wave )

They then closed the portal, and Blitzo looked at Merita with a smile.

Blitzo: what's your name tots?

Merita: I'm Merita ( she said with a curtsy and a smile ) but everyone calls me Mery

Blitzo: huh a bit innocent but a few days with us should fix that, anyway this is Loona, Moxie, and Millie welcome to the I.M.P family

Moxie: we're not a family sir-

Blitzo: shut it Moxie

Loona: why did you want a job here anyway?

Merita: I wanted to get a job so I could be a good example for my kids, my in laws send me enough money to take care of them but I wanted to do things myself instead of depending on others ( she said with a innocent smile and her hands on her hips )

Blitzo: okay maybe it might take more than a few days to take care of that innocence of yours...

Moxie: but why this job? ( He asked Merita confused )

Merita: my daughter saw your little jingle on TV and liked it so I thought this was the right place to start.

Blitzo: see Moxie, this lady's kid liked the jingle! Ha!
