Chapter 2: Loo Loo Land

Merita was in her owl demon form and was attending to the flowers that beautifully grew within the palace walls as her Husband, Alexander a great horned owl demon wearing fancy attire, was sitting on the couch reading the news paper when Merita walked in with a happy smile.

Merita: Good morning Alexander ( she said happily and lovingly to Alexander with a smile )

Alexander just responded with a humm as he wasn't giving Merita any attention which Merita didn't mind, thinking he was just busy with something more important. Alexander then looked at the clock before he stood up and started to walk away from the room.

Merita: your leaving so soon Love, I thought you would like to stay for breakfast with me and our Hatchlings ( she said a bit sad )

Alexander turned to Merita putting on a fake smile

Alexander: Merita my dear, you know I would love to but this meeting is very important, unless you want me to miss this very important meeting that could help us provide for our children ( he said with a manipulative tone )

Merita: of course not, my apologies dear, I know how hard you work to provide for me and our Hatchlings.... ( She said sadly )

Alexander: don't be upset dear maybe Stella would like to have brunch with you this afternoon, I know how much you both enjoy each other's company plus with Stella's experience with being a mother longer than you she might give you some advice ( he said bittersweetly )

Merita: of course dear... I love you...

Alexander just hummed in response and left Merita, not caring that she was slightly upset.

Merita was now happily making pancakes and had cut up some fruit to make smiley faces on the pancakes and placed them on the dining table she also placed three syrup bottles that were different flavors one was blueberry, one was normal, and the last one was raspberry as Evelyn and Eric walk in the kitchen, Evelyn yawned a little as Eric happily walked to the table and sat down to eat breakfast.

Merita: hehe good morning Evelyn Eric, did you sleep well my hatchlings?

Evelyn went to her seat and yawned again.

Eric: yes mother

Evelyn: as much sleep I can get from hearing Stella's screaming from all the way here ( she said sarcastically )

Merita: oh dear, I wonder what has made her so upset ( she said clueless before one of the palace imp butlers walked in the room )

The butler carried the phone to Merita, the phone was ringing. Merita thanked the imp happily which he said " your welcome " happily in response. Merita picked up the phone with a smile

Merita: hello?

Stolas: Mery! ( He said happily )

Merita: Big brother, I wasn't expecting you to call! ( She said happily ) How are you, Stella, and Octavia been doing?

Stolas: oh umm we're doing good, I just wanted to ask if you and the twins wanted to join me and Via to go to Loo Loo Land! To spend a day together like we did when Octavia was their age, I know that you always wanted them to go there one day.
